The streets of this great city, reborn from fire, bustled with people. The great bell atop the tower of the royal palace slowly began to swing, and its deep chimes rang throughout the city alongside the thin morning mist.

It was not to wake everyone up. Long before the bell rang, people had already set out early and begun their daily toil.

The northern kingdom was a traditional kingdom. Even after having been destroyed once, its people still clung to the many traditions and cultural foundations passed down from the days of the Arathor Empire.

In the center of the city stood the Holy Light Cathedral. This enormous, magnificently imposing grand cathedral was as glorious as it had been in old Lordaeron. When Titan Sarodar rebuilt the foremost city of the north, he naturally did not overlook this landmark.

Amid the morning mist and chilly breeze, a chorus rang out from the cathedral. The morning hymns and prayers of nearly a thousand priests and paladins, blessed by the Holy Light, echoed throughout the capital of Lordaeron.

Alonsus Faol, the undead archbishop who had returned from death, no longer needed sleep. That gave him more time to pursue the path of the Holy Light.
