• Wang Yihan revealed that her family had guarded a sealed Phantasmal Demon King beneath Longyao City and that Sin had used her relatives in a ritual to break the seal.
• Su Ming defeated the Burly Man, then the Demon Emperor Sword flew into his stone-like right hand and refused to come out.

Su Ming pursued the Mo Family to rescue Xiao Hai'er, defeating Mo Leng as she evolved into a Nightmare Breed. After returning to Longyao City, Su Ming sought an examination of the Demon Emperor Sword attached to his right hand and learned it could alter his body and mind.

• Su Ming decided to travel to Tianfeng City alone, but postponed his plans when the Mo Family abducted Xiao Hai'er and fled into the wilderness.
• Su Ming used the Falling Leaves Return to Roots Whip to make a dead Mo Family member lead him and Xu Qianqian to Xiao Hai'er.
• Su Ming and Xu Qianqian reached the Mo Family as Xiao Hai'er began evolving, and Su Ming fought Mo Leng while Xu Qianqian confronted the traitor Mo Yin.
• Su Ming fatally wounded Mo Leng, and Xiao Hai'er completed her evolution into a Nightmare Breed with a grown Mermaid Maiden form.
• Su Ming and Xu Qianqian reunited, accepted Xiao Hai'er despite the danger her new power posed, and returned toward Longyao City together.
