Qiao Sang won the Zhongkong Region Tournament, then traveled with Mikala to Youzhou and West Han City to investigate Ghost-type evolution and Bao Wuwu’s origins. In Lost Town, they stopped a plot that trapped people in the Ghost Mist, and Qiao Sang woke with her brain domain greatly increased.

• Luobao and Scarlet Warm Dragon drew after their final attacks swept them both off the field, leaving the tournament score tied at 1–1.
• Yan Jiaoou defeated Yuan Tianlong’s Disaster Evil Dragon, then both sides’ remaining Pet Beasts fought to a draw, making Qiao Sang the tournament champion.
• Qiao Sang received the Yu Kong Cup, said goodbye to Ye Xiangting, and traveled with Mikala to Youzhou, where she began searching Ghost Market for a Mingzhu Flower.
• Qiao Sang visited Zhang Tai Dong’s institute and learned that some Ghost Type Pet Beasts might evolve by absorbing positive Emotional Energy, then agreed to take Bao Wuwu to West Han City.
• Bao Wuwu led Qiao Sang and Mikala into Lost Town’s Ghost Mist, where Secret Realm Rifts opened and a young man used Space Lockdown to trap the town’s visitors and residents.
• Qiao Sang and Mikala confronted the young man, and Qiao Sang’s Pet Beasts defeated his Witch Secret Demon after it absorbed negative energy and vital essence.
• Qiao Sang used Luobao’s Healing Sound Wave to calm the trapped people and wild Ghost Types, while a Masked Puppet guided everyone out of Lost Town.
• Qiao Sang saw enormous dark red eyes in the Ghost Mist and collapsed, then woke in the hospital as Mikala identified the eyes as Mihei Ramu’s and said Qiao Sang’s brain domain had risen from 50% to 59%.

Qiao Sang tracked down the Change Clothes Totem while helping Little Treasure stabilize its energy and evolve into a Night Ring King. After Gang Bao evolved and Little Thunder Dragon hatched, Fate Spirit predicted that Qiao Sang’s next destination was Flame Sky Star.

• Qiao Sang returned to the Imperial Pet Taming Academy, learned Little Treasure’s energy surge could lead to evolution, and later received the Mingzhu Flower after visiting the Zhidiya Region.
• Qiao Sang traveled to Ying Country, where people mistook Little Treasure for a wanted Ghost Ring King, and Mikala assigned her to find the culprit for points.
• Qiao Sang used Gui Nao Ke to trace the Change Clothes Totem through a missing hair accessory, but the Totem defeated Little Treasure and escaped.
• Qiao Sang helped Little Treasure train and stabilize its energy, then used the Pet Beast Codex to raise it to its limit so it could evolve into a King-level Night Ring King.
• Little Treasure learned it had gained the Dark-type and several new skills, while Qiao Sang tested its abilities and took Little Thunder Dragon’s egg for genetic testing.
• Little Thunder Dragon hatched, bonded with Fang Fang and Ya Bao, and Qiao Sang named it Tingbao.
• Gang Bao took an Energy Bath and evolved into Steel Chieftain Kain, while Grover gave Little Treasure golden armor and a shield in exchange for Ancient Ghost Gold.
• Fate Spirit predicted that Qiao Sang’s next destination was Flame Sky Star, and Mikala arranged for them to leave the following day.

Qiao Sang brought Little Thunder Dragon to Flame Sky Star, helped it train, and entered the Contract Compatibility Competition with it. After a string of victories and tests of its Multiple Scales trait, the story left Qiao Sang preparing to continue testing Little Thunder Dragon while Little Treasure and Qingbao returned from their competition trip.

• Qiao Sang and Mikala arrived on Flame Sky Star, where Little Thunder Dragon struggled with the heat and Mikala explained how Wild Pet Beasts could work, compete, and choose partners.
• Qiao Sang and Mikala rented a villa, where Mei Chou Ni repeatedly left bouquets for Qiao Sang, who refused her offer because she intended to contract Little Thunder Dragon.
• Qiao Sang helped Yakelin confront Cursebringer in a notarized battle, and Little Treasure won but acquired Cursebringer’s Hate Transfer trait.
• Qiao Sang entered the Contract Compatibility Competition with Little Thunder Dragon, which won its preliminary match against Cotton Seed with Discharge.
• Little Thunder Dragon defeated Rushing Spotted Swallow and then Little Algae Dragon, using Qiao Sang’s commands to overcome each opponent.
• Little Thunder Dragon beat an Intermediate Fire Shell Snail in the round of 32 after its Multiple Scales trait helped it withstand Flame Jet.
• Qiao Sang tested Little Thunder Dragon’s Multiple Scales with Ya Bao and Gang Bao, then summoned Little Treasure and Qingbao back from Hasman, where Qingbao had won a competition.

Qiao Sang and Little Thunder Dragon won the Contract Compatibility Competition, while Qingbao competed in the Strongest Advanced Pet Beast Competition and defeated several powerful opponents. The arc left Qiao Sang refusing Dragon Overlord’s offer for her next contract slot and Qingbao continuing to train with Mei Tian Hua.

• Little Thunder Dragon earned an A-rank Multiple Scales trait, then revealed its S-rank Lightning Rod trait while defeating Yu Shike’s Electric Mad Dog and advancing through the tournament.
• Qiao Sang and Little Thunder Dragon defeated Lila Adela’s Wind Pride Bird, Poison Ball Mushroom, and Fire Seed Bear to win the Contract Compatibility Competition, while Qiao Sang turned down Dragon Overlord’s proposed contract candidates.
• Qiao Sang defeated the Wild Thunder Star Tiger with Qingbao and revealed herself to be a seventeen-year-old B-rank Pet Tamer, prompting Mei Chou Ni to give up on contracting with her.
• Dragon Overlord brought King-level Mota Dragons to train Qiao Sang’s Pet Beasts, while Little Thunder Dragon challenged Moli Dragon and Qingbao prepared to face Mei Chou Ni.
• Qingbao defeated Mei Chou Ni, and Qiao Sang’s encouragement helped Mei Chou Ni evolve into Mei Tian Hua, who then agreed to train Qingbao to withstand her Stench skill.
• Qingbao defeated Mo Ao Dragon in the tournament, and Mikala revealed to Dragon Overlord that Qingbao was a Legendary Pet Beast from Blue Star Dragon Nation.
• Little Treasure collected Liba Troupe fur for Qiao Sang’s school mission, and Dragon Overlord revealed that the Tenth Seat had a Nether Blood Fruit Tree.
• Dragon Overlord offered Qiao Sang a Nether Blood Fruit in exchange for reserving her next contract slot for one of its dragons, but Qiao Sang refused and reaffirmed that she would contract Little Thunder Dragon.
