Qiao Sang trained Tingbao to compete in Huachang City’s Free-Points Battle, where Tingbao rose through the ranks and lost to the leading Earth Land Dragon. After weather manipulation proved too risky, Tingbao began trying to learn Thunder Weather itself, ending with a powerful burst of lightning during training.

• Qiao Sang and Ya Bao purified several curses, then Mikala told Qiao Sang about Huachang City’s Free-Points Battle and its Energy Pool prize.
• Qiao Sang registered Tingbao for the competition, and Little Treasure helped Tingbao earn points through a series of battles, eventually pushing its score to 248.
• Tingbao’s score climbed to 3,186 over half a month, and after it shed its skin, it resumed battling and encountered the first-ranked Earth Land Dragon.
• Earth Land Dragon defeated Tingbao, so Qiao Sang trained it to counter the dragon, but Earth Land Dragon refused a rematch because it had already won once.
• Qiao Sang arranged for Lei Da to create thunder weather so Tingbao could battle Scent Moths, and Tingbao used its ability to devour lightning to defeat them.

Qiao Sang won Franklin’s King Energy Potion, trained her team, and brought Gang Bao to Flying Bird Island in search of resources. Gang Bao evolved after exploring the danger at Void Cliff, while Qiao Sang’s group stayed on Flame Sky Star and turned to training Qingbao and checking the academy’s exchange.

• Qiao Sang defeated Franklin’s Evil Moon Strange Rabbit after Gang Bao evolved and used Sky Wing Blade, then suspected Franklin’s Pure Evil Clown had planned to curse her Pet Beasts.
• Qiao Sang arranged for a King Energy Potion in exchange for Healing Light and brought Jisidan to help Luobao experience the loneliness needed for evolution.
• After the Imperial Pet Taming Academy team placed second, Qiao Sang stayed on Flame Sky Star and traveled with Mikala to Flying Bird Island to find resources for Gang Bao.
• Qiao Sang gained entry to Sound Bird Valley, where Yin Panling offered Gang Bao Flying Type resources if it retrieved an egg from Void Cliff after evolving.
