Qiao Sang froze for a moment, then suddenly grew excited, hardly daring to believe it as she shouted:
"Shalala! That Mei Chou Ni really is Shalala!"
She had only been suspicious at first. Men Prefecture was so vast, and that Mei Chou Ni had shown no changes despite losing its Nai Bian Flower. She had never expected it to really be Shalala.
"Qing Qing."
Qingbao called out, helping to correct her.
It wasn't that Mei Chou Ni that was Shalala. The flower it had bought was Shalala.
The flower? Qiao Sang froze again before adding:
"Qingbao said that Mei Chou Ni isn't Shalala, but the flower it bought from the flower shop is Shalala."
They had found it just like that? Teacher Mikala looked astonished.
Even knowing that Shalala was in Men Prefecture during this period, finding it this quickly was still far too absurd.
This was Shalala. There was probably only one on all of Flame Sky Star.
Who could have imagined that just after arriving a hundred years in the past, they would run into it during someone else's trip out to buy something?

As the thought flashed through her mind, Shalala overheard the conversation. Recalling the appearance of the flower in Mei Chou Ni's pot, it waved its limbs, trying to transform.
Hearing the movement, Mikala turned to look at Shalala.
Everything that had seemed absurd instantly felt reasonable.
Her student could bring a Shalala home just from going out to claim a prize. Running into Shalala after arriving a hundred years in the past no longer seemed impossible.
Mikala gathered her thoughts, her expression turning grave as she asked:
"Do you remember where it was?"
"Qing Qing."
Qingbao nodded.
