The Object Identifier tried to maintain its original facial expression and called out:
"Shi Shi."
It was full.
Qiao Sang looked at the yellow bird-type pet beast that had walked in, then at the Object Identifier, and advised:
"It came specifically to charge you. Since it's already here, why don't you charge a little longer?"
The Object Identifier was silent for two seconds before calling out:
"Shi Shi."
Bring it on.
"You can start," Qiao Sang said.
The yellow bird-type pet beast stepped forward, looked the Object Identifier over, and called out:
"Geng Geng?"
Where's the charging port?
The Object Identifier's body stiffened slightly.
"It doesn't need a special charging port," Qiao Sang said. "You only need to control the lightning and strike it directly."
The design of a Mechanical Type pet beast depended entirely on the Mechanic's skill. Mechanical Type pet beasts made by Mechanics of average ability generally had obvious charging ports, while highly skilled Mechanics usually didn't bother designing one. The materials on a Mechanical Type pet beast's body could support charging across its entire body.
The Object Identifier relaxed upon hearing this.
"Geng Geng."
The yellow bird-type pet beast wore an expression that said, "So that's how it is." Then, yellow electric arcs crackled across its body, gathering into a bolt that struck the Object Identifier.
The Object Identifier stood expressionlessly. It could no longer pretend to be enjoying itself.
At the dining table, Mikala said, "After we finish eating, I'll take the Object Identifier out to search."
"I'll go," Qiao Sang said. "This is my mission, after all."
If the lightning outside weren't so terrifying, she wouldn't have minded letting Mikala Teacher go search. But with the lightning weather this frightening, she felt she should go herself.
Mikala saw through Qiao Sang's thoughts and smiled.
