"Don't go out looking for Alien Pet Beasts today. When you get back, I'll help you find a place to test Qing Bao's newly awakened skill," Mikala said as she drank her milk.
"Let's test it tonight instead." Qiao Sang picked up a bun, stuffed it into her mouth, and said, "Qing Bao is a Fairy-type pet beast. Some of its awakened skills might only be usable at night. After we get back from the Beast Taming Center, I want to build up Qing Bao's anger first and have it start training to see whether it can stay somewhat calm during an emotional outburst."
She had checked the Beast Taming Codex last night. Some of Qing Bao's traits and skills could only be used at night. Testing them during the day would simply be a waste of time.
"That works." Mikala thought it over and had no objections.
Some Fairy-type pet beasts truly could only use certain traits and skills properly at night, such as Qing Bao's Moonlight trait and the skill Star Moon Hammer.
"Xun Xun?"
Little Seeker suddenly thought of something and called out, asking what they would do if there were no starlight or moonlight tonight, just like last night.
Then we'll have no choice but to move to another city again, like yesterday... Qiao Sang turned to Little Seeker and joked:
