The next day, Qiao Sang woke up, freshened up quickly, and went to the kitchen, where she saw the Vice Principal already hard at work.

"Just wait five more minutes. It'll be ready soon," Liu Yao said as he prepared Energy Meals for Ya Bao and the others.

Qiao Sang walked over and asked,

"Is there anything I can help with?"

"No." Liu Yao kept working without looking up. "A few days ago, I adjusted the Energy Meal formula based on Yan Qilu and the others' current physical conditions and made a new batch. You don't know which portion belongs to whom."

She turned and saw Little Treasure had opened the refrigerator and was rummaging through it for snacks.

"Don't touch that," Qiao Sang said.

"Xun Xun?" Little Treasure turned around, looking slightly confused.

"Breakfast will be ready soon. Don't eat snacks now," Qiao Sang said.

"Xun Xun..."

Little Treasure looked at the food in the refrigerator, then at Qiao Sang, before pointing toward the living room.

Qiao Sang followed the direction it was pointing and saw another Little Treasure staring at the computer screen. It seemed to be watching some tearjerker, occasionally picking up the tissue clenched in its paw to wipe away its tears.

Qiao Sang fell silent for two seconds before asking,

"It told you to get it snacks?"

"Xun Xun."

The Little Treasure in front of her nodded.

Qiao Sang thought of something and checked through the Pet Beast Codex. After another moment of silence, she asked, "Are you a Substitute?"

"Xun Xun."

"Little Treasure" nodded.

So Substitute could be used like this too... Qiao Sang gave the Little Treasure quietly wiping tears in the distance
