Gao Cheng rescued Professor Jiang and Liu Yue from the Stone Cave and hid them in a small cave, then returned to search for the others. He searched through the night but found no one before escaping the maze shortly before daybreak.

Captain Gao returned to Professor Jiang and Liu Yue with evidence that three of their companions were likely dead, but he had found no sign of Liu Yue’s brother.

Long Xiaoyuan taunted Su Qiao about Li Hanzheng and their former engagement, and Su Qiao stopped Li Hanzheng from attacking so she could question Long Xiaoyuan.
