"Do these guys really think the goddess of victory is on their side?"
"You said they're natives yourself. Maybe they really do think that."
"Haha."
On a mountaintop not far away, Lake heard M'Baku's bold declaration loud and clear. He could not help shaking his head. "If this luxurious coalition force assembled to fight aliens gets defeated by a native just like this, then the Five Hegemons might as well rename themselves the Five Useless Pieces of Trash."
As he spoke,
Lake's gaze caught sight of the dazzling missiles that had shot into the sky, completed their launch almost in the blink of an eye, then roared toward Wakanda proper in a rain of fire.
Boom, boom, boom!
Wakanda's barrier, which it took pride in, broke almost instantly after resisting ten missiles. Before M'Baku's excitement could fade, boundless terror filled his eyes as the area was completely swallowed by the densely packed Hellfire Missiles.
Under the missile bombardment,
in an instant,
"Wow!"
Watching the storm rise straight into the sky and howl in all directions like a tornado, Lake could not help turning to Tony Stark. "By the way, this is the second public appearance of the Hellfire cluster bombs since they were put up for sale, right?"
Their first appearance had also been at the Afghanistan base. During a demonstration of the Hellfire cluster bombs, an entire mountaintop had been shaved away by the missiles.
Tony nodded. "Right. However, the power is lower than my calculations. The military probably didn't maintain them properly. Nearly fifty bomblets failed to separate from their parent shells. Though it could also be because of the launch distance."
Lake raised his eyebrows.
Hill, sitting nearby, looked at the densely packed craters left by the explosion, making the ground resemble the surface of the moon.
