It couldn't really be considered a backyard fire in the traditional sense, because the cause of this fire had been utterly nonsensical to begin with.

Seifer sat on a barstool, propping up her chin as she looked at Rachel curiously. "You said it yourself. You don't like your younger brother, so what's wrong with me borrowing him for a little fun?"
Rachel's face darkened. "He's my brother, not a toy. Anyway, I said no, so no."
Seifer said, "Rachel, the Earth Allied Federation is about to be established. Do you know how many criminals from the underworld want to come out on top this time?"
Rachel took a deep breath and looked toward Lake, who was sitting on the sofa with his chin propped in both hands, as wooden as a block. She couldn't help saying, "Lake, please, say something. My brother may be a little dim and stupid, but he's still my brother."
The most important point was this.
Rachel's brother, Toledo, had finally stabilized. Mia and Brian had returned to Los Angeles to settle down, while Dominic Toretto and the newly returned Letty had happily gone off on their honeymoon.
That was a good thing.
