Edward felt that he was about to die. His infected wounds had caused a persistent high fever. Even with the robust physique of a Level 2 Warrior, he had endured it for so long that there were still no signs of improvement.
Instead, he was growing weaker and weaker. It seemed that his miserable life would end with him dying uselessly in this forsaken mine.
Perhaps because he was nearing death, his mind had become unusually clear. Or perhaps he had sensed someone entering but noticed that nothing happened for a long time. Edward slowly raised his head. It was the target of this operation—the seventeen-year-old island lord.
Is he going to hang me? Don't nobles usually hang pirates?
When Kerry saw Edward raise his head and look at him with eyes filled with death, his heart softened for some reason.
He took out the Big Brother, shook the handle a few times, and dialed Medical Unit 1.

"Save me? Why? What use could I possibly be?" Edward suddenly thought of the captain who had betrayed him, Hook. He suddenly felt terribly miserable. A man even pirates had abandoned—what use could he be to a noble? Would they feed him to the fish for entertainment?
"I heard you originally had a chance to escape, but your captain betrayed you and abandoned you at the docks. You were only caught afterward."
Kerry did not answer Edward's question. Instead, he wanted to provoke him with words. Perhaps he could stir up Edward's hatred for his captain and make him tell him the location of the captain's treasure.

It was wishful thinking. Edward had become a pirate because of the nobles' persecution. There were no good nobles.

Edward had assumed that these nobles would use saving his life as leverage and make him swear loyalty first. He had not expected the noble he encountered this time to be so magnanimous, offering benefits before discussing anything else.

Kerry arranged for two Echo Bugs with Level 1 strength to guard Edward, then left the mine.
Miner Guard No. 1 had already been waiting here for quite some time.
"Miner Guard No. 1, take all the Mining Robots and Miner Guards No. 2 through 4 to the Copper Ore area and mine at full capacity. Miner Guard No. 5, stay behind and gather all the smelting packs. Start smelting copper at full capacity in this mine. This mine may not be able to keep up with our ore production, so Miner Guard No. 5, dig a few more tunnels for storage whenever you have time."

In the end, after a full sixteen seconds of thought, Kerry decided to call these Echo Bug pirates the Cobra Unit.
As for the meaning behind it, he had of course taken inspiration from the organization that had invented the Nanobots. That terrifying terrorist organization was called Cobra.
