Everyone Knows (First Update)

The scene in the room was, of course, nothing like what everyone outside the door imagined.

Emma had sprained her ankle and had bruises on her back. After leaving the Fisherman's Circle, Kerry found Emma sitting alone in a corner. When he asked why, he learned that although Emma's injuries weren't severe, they were still painful. So, Kerry suggested giving her a massage.

Kerry knew a little about massage from his previous life. After assuring Emma that she would feel much better after the massage, Emma happily agreed. However, Kerry hadn't expected Emma to invite him to her room.

Kerry felt it didn't matter where the massage took place, but Emma herself was surprised to invite a boy into her room.

Afterward, Kerry earnestly massaged Emma. As a result, Emma let out suppressed groans during the massage.

What Kerry and Emma didn't know was that after they left early and returned to their rooms to rest, the atmosphere of the party suddenly changed, as if everyone was sharing some kind of secret.

"Did you know? Lord Kerry and Miss Emma were just in the room... I consider you my best friend, so just listen to this and don't spread it around."

The most ironic thing in the world is that everyone tells others not to talk, but unfortunately, everyone is talking.

At breakfast the next day, Kerry suddenly noticed everyone looking at him and Emma across the table with ambiguous expressions.

Kerry was a little confused but didn't pay it much mind. Perhaps someone knew that Kerry had saved Emma at the pier.

In Kerry's opinion, it was rare for a nobleman to personally jump into the water to save someone, so people might have misunderstood something.

These were minor issues. He had important matters to attend to starting today and no time to bother with these subordinates.

After breakfast, Kerry hurried to the southern mine. Over 160 pirates were imprisoned there, but they would soon become mere echoes.

Meanwhile, Emma, who also noticed everyone's ambiguous glances, felt a bit guilty, as if she had been caught doing something wrong. Could everyone tell she had a crush on Kerry?

Unconsciously, Emma's cheeks began to flush.

Gandalf, who was at the same dining table, knew that girls were shy. Seeing Emma's face flushed red from everyone's stares, he decided to speak up to divert her attention.

"Restraint? Children? Teacher, what are you talking about?" Emma didn't understand at first.

"My relationship with Kerry? Teacher, you know about it?" Emma was greatly surprised. She had only just thought Kerry was good yesterday and developed some feelings for him, how could the teacher already be so sure they were dating?

"Yes, I only found out yesterday that you've developed to this extent." Gandalf, remembering his eavesdropping from yesterday, felt his old face heat up and quickly finished his breakfast before finding an excuse to leave.

Was I that obvious yesterday? Emma wondered. I absolutely cannot let Kerry know about this, otherwise, he'll think I'm a lovesick girl.

Of course, Kerry didn't know about the conversation between Emma and Gandalf after he left. He had already arrived at the southern mine on his four-wheel-drive beach buggy.

Since over 160 pirates were imprisoned here, the mineral output from this period had been piled up near the mine entrance. It looked a bit like a scene from a shady transaction.

The first thing Kerry did upon arriving was to retrieve all the robots from the Dimensional Exchange space.

All traded items could be stored in the Dimensional Exchange warehouse for free for 30 days. After 30 days, storage fees would be charged based on the item's volume.

This rule applied to items traded within the Dimensional Exchange. If you wished to use the temporary warehouse to store non-traded items or display items, then only the 10-hour free period for the temporary warehouse would apply.

Fourteen Miner Robots and Miner Guard Robots surrounded Kerry, giving him an instant sense of accomplishment, like a gang boss protected by his subordinates.

Kerry arranged for these robots to connect to each other via their built-in local area network and used an unencrypted radio wave to contact Miner Guard No. 1, who was still mining copper ore underwater, to return and join the Miner Guard unit. He then gave Miner No. 1 and Miner Guard No. 2 each a hand-cranked walkie-talkie.

Miner Guard No. 1 was not present. Miner Guard No. 1 was formerly Unit 001, so the walkie-talkie could only be given to Miner Guard No. 2. With this, Kerry could contact all his robots at any time.

"When Miner Guard No. 1 arrives, I will assign tasks to all of you uniformly. For now, wait here. Miner Guards, maintain your positions and be alert." After giving instructions to the robots, Kerry entered the southern mine.

"Greetings, Lord!" The City Guards at the mine entrance greeted him. These individuals were responsible for guarding the captured pirates.

Although they were not on duty at the castle, their gazes towards Kerry were still somewhat ambiguous, clearly indicating they knew some secrets meant only for him.

Kerry found it strange that these City Guards hadn't attended the party but seemed to be quite well-informed.

However, the City Guards hadn't noticed Emma leaving the castle in Frank's carriage yesterday, which indicated that these City Guards were rather negligent in their duties; they didn't know what they should know, but they seemed to know everything they shouldn't.

Kerry had assumed that the matter of a nobleman personally diving into the water to save someone had been widely spread.

He would address the military discipline properly when he had time. With this thought, Kerry passed Edward's cell and arrived at the area where the healthy pirates were concentrated. Over 160 of them, not too many, but not too few either, packed the dark mine in a dense mass.

They were all tied up with ropes, and those with the strength of a Level 1 Warrior were even bound with chains.

Kerry took out a nanobot injector and approached the nearest pirate. This was his first time observing pirates up close. His first impression was that this guy was quite ugly.

However, over the next half hour, after injecting nanobots into each of the pirates, Kerry realized that it wasn't just the first one who was ugly; all the pirates were grotesque. None of them were as good-looking as Edward.

While Edward couldn't be called handsome, at least his features were well-proportioned. How did you guys grow up like this? Is the standard for being a pirate based on who is uglier?
