That night, Edward moved into the Super Large Space Tent along with the other Cobra Soldiers. Unlike the other Cobra Soldiers, however, Edward had guards—and not just one, but two Level 1 Warriors.
With the Big Brother in hand, Edward had quite the air of a supreme commander.
Kerry naturally wasn't about to trust a surrendered Warrior Level 2 pirate so easily. Aside from serving at Edward's beck and call, the guards' greater purpose was to watch him. Thus, two of the Cobra Unit's already scarce Level 1 Warriors had been assigned to Edward.
One had to know that even Kerry's castle only had two Level 1 Warriors stationed there. On one side was a single person, and on the other was an entire castle full of people. Edward could be said to be the most extravagantly guarded person on the island.
Edward certainly wasn't foolish enough to finally save his life, only to turn around and attempt to assassinate Kerry. Not to mention that Kerry was also a Warrior Level 2, the castle contained an Old Mage of unknown level, as well as a Little Girl who was obviously a mage. Entering that dragon's lair would be nothing short of suicide.
Edward had seen Emma in her Mage Robe from a distance before, so he now avoided Kerry's castle like the plague.
At that moment, Kerry was pacing distractedly along the shore. Beneath the sea here lay the sunken pirate ship of the Straw Sandals Pirate Group. There were probably quite a few pirate corpses inside it. The other pirate corpses had all been hauled up and burned.
Edward had successfully demonstrated that he really was quick-witted and more useful than a walking corpse.
