After the battle on Dragon Island ended, Ye Kong secured the Golden Lion Tribe’s safety and agreed to accompany Wen Qingxuan to the Ancient Sacred Abyss, as a fiery phoenix appeared.

• Ye Kong learned that Luo Tianshen had been poisoned, helped restore him with Xiao Yan and Xiao Yixian, and trained Mu Chen before defeating Xiao Xiao in their five-year pact.
• Ye Kong arrived at the Dragon Tribe with Lin Jing and Lin Diao, where his presence brought Huang Jin, Huang Xuanzhi, and the Nether River Old Ancestor into a tense standoff.

Ye Kong strengthened his Immortal Golden Body in the Dragon Tribe’s pagoda and crippled Huang Xuanzhi after defeating him. On the ninth floor, he refused Maha You’s demand for the Eternal Undying Body and began a fierce battle as rumors spread that Ye Kong might be the Immortal Great Emperor’s successor.

• Feng Yusheng learned from Lin Jing how Huang Jin had plotted against Ye Kong, while Ye Kong discovered Xuan Jie’s ties to the Blood River Ancestor and resolved to kill him and the Nether River Old Ancestor.
• Ye Kong agreed to become Great Thousand Palace Lord after obtaining the Eternal Undying Body, following the Yin-Yang Venerables’ claim that he was the Immortal Great Emperor’s successor through his senior brother Huanzhen.
• At the Dragon Emperor’s birthday banquet, Ye Kong presented the True Dragon Scripture and received access to the Nine-story Dragon Pagoda, where the True Dragon Emperor arranged for him to face powerful Immortal Golden Body cultivators.

Ye Kong protected Wen Qingxuan and Mu Chen while confronting the Xuan and Mo Veins of the Futuo Ancient Clan, then joined the fight against the Heavenly Demon Emperor remnants. The arc ended with Wen Qingxuan receiving the Gun Ancestor’s inheritance and declaring that she had graduated.

• Ye Kong defeated Maha You, advanced to Early Immortal Grade Heavenly Sovereign, and traveled with Xiao Xiao to the Sacred Abyss Continent.
