• Li Wei collected the Incense Money Yao Zhixue had left and accepted her promise to transfer future earnings.

Li Wei seized control of the Jade Pool and brutally imposed her rule, forcing Shen Yaochi to yield the Queen Mother’s seat. When she confronted the Jade Emperor, she recognized him as Gu Jinzhi, and the two joyfully reunited.

• Li Wei declared herself emperor and killed members of the Aristocratic Faction who defied her decrees.

• After the others left the Jade Pool, Li Wei and Gu Jinzhi embraced, and he eventually admitted he had regained consciousness when Min Zimo arrived.
• Li Wei panicked that Gu Jinzhi had heard her private remarks, but relaxed when he said he had only awakened on the day Min Zimo arrived.
• Li Wei bragged about her military victories and promotion, and Gu Jinzhi silently cried as he listened.
• Their jade masks disappeared, and Gu Jinzhi asked Li Wei to leave the army and return to the capital until he woke up; she refused.
