Background / History
Min Zimo served as the captain of an elite Investigation Bureau squad during the Huanmao Center Abyss Rift incident. The Great Dream Cult lured his team into an ambush with a disguised Human Puppet, trapping them amid overwhelming Abyssal Monsters in the Eighth Layer. Though his subordinates urged him to escape alone, he refused to abandon them and organized a defensive retreat toward the Ninth Layer’s Inverted Domain. 63 71 82
Inside the Inverted Domain, he repeatedly chose defensible positions, first clearing a path with a sweeping spear attack and later leading the survivors to a floating island accessible by a single bridge. His squad nevertheless suffered severe losses: Liu Zhao and Mou Bin used the Qi Burning Method to buy time, while Min Zimo was eventually knocked unconscious and carried away by Ma Tao. Li Wei’s intervention prevented the squad’s complete destruction. 71 73 74
He awoke in hospital with injuries and divine soul damage that would have required one or two years to heal naturally. Learning that Li Wei—then known to him as Jiang Xue—had held off the monsters and cut through the Inverted Domain alone, he silently recognized a debt of gratitude to her. Ding Pojun arranged for him to enter the Sky-Gazing Mirror, where its accelerated time could aid his recovery. 82
Sky-Gazing Mirror ordeal
Min Zimo chose the Warrior role for the Sky-Gazing Mirror expedition. Upon entering the Mirror World, the Great Dream Bodhisattva’s divine sense took control of his body, finding it severely damaged and attempting to forcibly restore and enhance it. 96 99 110
After regaining control, Min Zimo arrived in Yujing with anomalous Third Order cultivation and recounted an apparent village massacre and wicked sacrifice. He correctly suspected that the Mirror World’s power system had been altered, but Gu Jinzhi later determined that the “blood bead” and much of the incident were manipulations by the Bodhisattva, which had used Min Zimo as a pawn. 126 135
Gu Jinzhi appointed him Minister of War and commander of the Four Provinces’ bandit-suppression campaign. Min Zimo traveled to the Central Plains to establish military authority, then commanded Fengzhou’s defense during the bandits’ assault. He fought continuously on the city wall and directed the retreat from the outer city to the inner defenses when the enemy launched its general offensive. 129 136 144 145
After Fengzhou, he rejected a luxurious residence and spent three years living austerely, drilling recruits by day and practicing his spear at night. This training culminated in his comprehension of Spear Intent. 149
Appearance
Min Zimo is a tall, broad and imposing young man with bronze skin, a resolute face, sharp eyes, and black hair tied with a simple cloth band. His solemn bearing and powerful build give him an intimidating, soldierly presence. 96 126

- Appears as a masked divine general in the Heavenly Ruins, clad in silver armor, carrying a fire-tipped spear, and standing on wind-fire wheels. 247
- His Heavenly Ruins identity is associated with Nezha-like imagery and the title “Great God of the Three Altars of the Lotus.” 96 248
Personality
Min Zimo is notably stoic, direct, and disciplined. He speaks concisely, avoids exaggeration, and approaches uncertain situations through observation and practical deduction. Su Mo considers him incapable of joking in serious matters, while Gu Jinzhi finds his outward behavior almost unnervingly composed. 96 127
As a commander, he prioritizes the survival of his team over his own safety. He rejects proposals to sacrifice subordinates for his escape, remains calm while calculating defensive options, and continues to hold the line even after sustaining numerous injuries. 63 73 74
He is also self-critical and resilient. Discovering that he had been used by the Great Dream Bodhisattva leaves him dejected, but he quickly regains his composure and continues working toward his military responsibilities. 135 136
