Background / History

Li Wei was originally Ling Wei, an ordinary young man from the 21st century who transmigrated into a high-martial parallel world and awoke in the body of a young woman. Her new family was already in crisis: her peacekeeper father had died in an Abyss monster attack, her mother had died shortly afterward, and her younger brother Li Cheng required costly treatment for congenital Abyss erosion syndrome. 1

After discovering a System that converts Abyss Essence into stat improvements, Li Wei began strengthening herself. Her immediate goal was to save Li Cheng, even leading her to offer herself to Cheng Hao in exchange for treatment funds before larger forces intervened. 2 5

Liang Qiushi arranged for Li Wei to assume the identity of Jiang Xue, tying her to the Jiang Family and an engagement with Gu Jinzhi. The arrangement granted her access to the Jiang Family’s inheritances, including the Nine Moon Reflection Swords and Great Yin Jade Lotus Treasure Scroll, while Li Cheng’s condition received treatment. 11 12

Li Wei later entered the Western Frontier, where her desire to kill Abyssal Monsters for Essence developed alongside sincere respect for ordinary soldiers and Military Martial Artists. Her battlefield achievements rapidly elevated her from a new recruit to a frontline commander and temporary Major General. 193 200 241

As her power escalated beyond conventional martial ranks, Li Wei acquired the Four Seasons Sword Array, Divine Seats, and world-shaping authorities. She eventually guided the River of Time, taught the Dao in Purple Heaven Palace, aided Gu Jinzhi in establishing the Heavenly Court, and became a distant legend after dissolving her form and presence. 205 341 399

Appearance

Li Wei is repeatedly noted for her exceptional beauty, delicate build, fair complexion, and clear almond-like eyes. Her youthful and gentle appearance often causes others to underestimate her combat ability. 46 194

  • Fair, slender hands and a small aquiline nose. 1
  • Clear almond or doe-like eyes that retain an outwardly innocent quality. 194
  • Initially wears her hair around ear length; after completing her Divine Seat, it grows to shoulder length within days. 289
  • Often carries a cicada-wing soft sword concealed at her waist. 91 176
  • Her Divine Seat equipment can alter her attire into flowing moon-white immortal robes. 264

Personality

Li Wei is practical, adaptable, and fiercely devoted to Li Cheng. She is willing to humiliate herself, deceive others, or accept dangerous bargains if it means securing his survival, but she intends to repay favors rather than exploit them. 5 12

She possesses a mischievous, theatrical sense of humor and often acts carefree around authority. Her internal thoughts are frequently irreverent, whether she is reacting to martial arts inheritances, military protocol, or the legends forming around her. 11 201 219

Combat is both a means of growth and a genuine source of excitement for Li Wei. She actively seeks Abyssal Monster battlefields, calculates Essence gains, and becomes restless when prevented from fighting. 200 201 218

Despite this battle-oriented nature, she has strong empathy for frontline soldiers and deep contempt for those who abuse them. When cadets mutilated Military Martial Artists, she treated their punishment as retribution rather than a conventional duel. 224 237 238

Abilities & Skills

System and Abyss Essence

Li Wei’s System records techniques and allows her to spend Abyss Essence to improve her body, martial arts, weapons, and cultivation.

  • Increased her Vitality to 70 and triggered Muscles and Bones Ringing in Harmony. 2
  • Can record combat manuals simply by processing their contents; she recorded Cold Pool Sinking Jade by scrolling through its tablet files. 15
  • Gains Abyss Essence from Abyssal entities, including the purple-black mist left by slain Barbarians and large quantities collected during Abyssal Monster battles. 74 131 132
  • Can achieve in minutes what conventional practitioners would require extensive study and resources to learn. 16 153
  • Her rapid growth initially outpaced her state of mind, which she later recognizes herself. 402

Nine Moon Reflection Swords

The Jiang Family’s inherited sword art is Li Wei’s principal combat method. Its first stance serves as the foundation for later stances. 15 153

  • First String: Cold Pool Sinking Jade — A fast, quiet sword style emphasizing swift footwork, direct strikes, evasive movement, and concealed killing intent. 15
  • Sword Passes Without Sound — Used alongside Cold Pool Sinking Jade to sever Yun Zheng’s arm with a single strike. 27
  • Pale Soul Splitting Light and Great Yin Edict — Reached Great Accomplishment through Abyss Essence expenditure. 153
  • The technique excels at quickly defeating equal- or lower-ranked enemies but is less suited to overpowering heavily defended higher-ranked opponents through raw force. 51
  • At higher levels, Li Wei manifests cold moonlike Sword Intent capable of freezing the battlefield atmosphere. 74 180

Great Yin Jade Lotus Treasure Scroll

A Jiang Family cultivation method based on the body’s acupoints, meridians, and dantian.

  • Jiang Xinyue began Li Wei’s cultivation by connecting all 360 acupoints into a circulation network. 30
  • Li Wei’s Lower Dantian was already half-open during the initiation process, an abnormal advancement for her level. 30
  • Her stat-based foundation caused the technique’s physical-cultivation component to evolve to perfection within her body. 150
  • The completed Great Yin Star Lord Divine Seat raises all Great Yin cultivation methods, combat methods, and Intent by 1000%. 344

Four Seasons Sword Array

A sword array inherited through Jiang Wantang’s legacy and later cultivated through Li Wei’s Natal White Lotus and Lotus Swords. 87 153

  • Begins as four lotus seeds nurtured within Li Wei’s Sea of Consciousness. 153
  • The seeds were upgraded into Lotus Swords, giving her access to low-spec and complete array modes. 205
  • Can restrain groups of opponents, as demonstrated against Han Che, Zhao Jing, and other cadets. 237
  • Its range grew to a diameter of one thousand meters after Li Wei spent 400,000 Essence on an upgrade. 267
  • High-output deployment rapidly consumes Vitality. 267
  • In a small world, it covered all of Yangzhou and killed the Happy Maitreya. 285
  • At her later peak, the Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter Swords are recorded as mature System items. 341

White Lotus and Combat Enhancements

Li Wei possesses a Manifested Natal White Lotus and can layer several enhancements in battle.

  • Her white lotus emits pure light that causes spiritual discomfort to enemies and disrupts their vitality circulation. 180
  • Can combine Sword Intent, the Manifested Natal White Lotus, and Unity of Heaven and Man to fight far above her nominal realm. 180
  • Her system later lists the special Vitality effects Purification and Creation. 341
  • Her True Manifestation state is recorded at Ninth Order peak. 341

Diamond Body

A body-refining martial art gifted by Martial Immortal Zhang Luye.

  • Intended to compensate for Li Wei’s high offense and comparatively weak defense. 241
  • Was recorded by her System immediately after receiving the jade-token inheritance. 242
  • Achieved a perfected golden protective light by the time she fought Ma Baoguo. 244

Divine Seats and Authorities

Li Wei obtains divine inheritances that enhance her Great Yin path and eventually grant large-scale reality-altering power.

  • Heng'e Immortal Divine Seat — Initially incomplete but possessed 100% compatibility; provides percentage-based increases to Great Yin methods and Intent. 264
  • Great Yin Star Lord Divine Seat — Completed form of her Great Yin divine authority. 344
  • Great Dream and True Manifestation — Authorities recorded after she entered the Abyssal passage. 341
  • Can cultivate “Other Selves” and turn illusory worlds within the Sky-Gazing Mirror into real worlds. 364 370
  • Later manipulates time, corrects temporal deviations, and preaches the Dao to beings of the Chaos. 399

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Cicada-wing soft sword — A high-quality pseudo-divine weapon received from Jiang Xinyue; concealed at Li Wei’s waist and suited to Cold Pool Sinking Jade. 87 91 176
  • Four Lotus Swords — Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter swords evolved from lotus seeds and used to operate the Four Seasons Sword Array. 153 205 341
  • White Jade Mask — Conceals her traits and alters the visual manifestation of her sword array for observers. 285
  • Heng'e Immortal crescent jade pendant — Divine Seat equipment that transforms her clothing and supports her Great Yin abilities. 264
  • Diamond Body jade token — A one-use inheritance token given by Zhang Luye; disintegrated after transmitting the technique. 241 242
  • First-Class Merit Medal and general’s uniform — Presented following her promotion to frontline commander. 242
