"Sure! What are we having for dinner tonight?" Su Yue asked with a smile.
"What do you want to eat?" Lin Li replied.
"Since you're treating, of course you get to decide what we're having."
"How about we go eat hot pot? It's been ages since we last had it. We can go to the place we used to visit all the time..."
"Okay, then it's settled. We'll meet at that restaurant later."
"Mm."
After ending the chat, Su Yue started her white electric scooter and left the quiet campus.
There was still some time before sunset, and the streetlights had not yet come on.
Before meeting Lin Li, Su Yue wanted to visit a gem appraisal shop and have the two red crystals in her bag examined to determine whether they were rubies.

From time to time, icy gusts swept through the street, making the tall trees on both sides thrash violently.
Quite a few withered yellow leaves fell from the branches, drifting aimlessly in every direction before landing scattered across the ground.
Feeling the cold wind rushing toward her, Su Yue glanced at the scarf around her neck and thought of the other black scarf she wanted to give Lin Li.
"After dinner, I'll have Lin Li come home with me for a while and give him that black scarf."
The gem appraisal shop was not far from the school. Su Yue rode her white electric scooter along the road and reached her destination before long.
When she stopped her scooter, she happened to see several people walking out of the bustling gem appraisal shop with broad smiles.
Whenever she passed by, Su Yue had never seen any customers inside and had assumed business was poor. Now, however, she saw quite a few people in the shop.
