A white electric scooter appeared at the end of the street. Before long, Su Yue rode it onto the school grounds.
As she parked the scooter, a familiar voice sounded behind her.
"Su Yue."
Hearing someone call her name, Su Yue immediately turned around.
Wang Jiao stood not far away, waving with a radiant smile.
Su Yue quickly walked over and stopped in front of her, smiling as she said, "You got here pretty early!"
"Since there's going to be a meeting, I came early..." Wang Jiao said.
The two of them walked toward the teachers' office, chatting along the way about the Red Mushroom infection that had occurred that morning.
When they reached the office, Su Yue swept her gaze around and discovered that most of her colleagues had already arrived.
She had thought she'd left home early, but now it seemed that idea had been wrong.
Su Yue went to her desk, pulled out the chair, and sat down. Beside her, Wang Jiao opened a drawer, took out a packet of biscuits, and held it out.
"I just finished lunch not long ago. I'm not hungry right now."
Wang Jiao nodded and put the biscuits away before saying to Su Yue,
"What do you think the principal will talk about at the meeting later?"
Su Yue pondered for a few seconds before guessing, "Whatever the principal talks about will most likely be related to what happened this morning."
Wang Jiao smiled. "I think so too. Actually, the matter is already over, so there's not much to say. The principal even specially gathered everyone for a meeting. It's a bit of a waste of time."
Su Yue smiled faintly and did not elaborate further on the matter.
Suddenly, the phone she had placed on the desk began to ring.
