A Chaotic Consciousness (Two Chapters Combined)

Lin Li was looking at a glowing plant in the distance. He noticed that it was somewhat different from the others.

After cultivating for over an hour, Wu Qingfang had recovered a good deal of her Spiritual Energy. She hadn't fully recovered, but she felt more or less ready.

So she stood up and asked Lin Li, "What are you looking at?"

Hearing Wu Qingfang's voice, Lin Li took his eyes off the glowing plant and turned to face her. "I found a glowing plant that seems a little unusual."

"Which one? What's unusual about it?" Wu Qingfang asked curiously.

"That one beside the big rock..." Lin Li raised his left hand and pointed to a glowing plant to the right of a distant boulder with sharply defined edges.

Wu Qingfang followed his finger with her gaze. Before long, she spotted the place he was pointing to: a glowing plant over five meters tall.

Looking closely, she saw that the plant moved. Every few seconds, its leaves folded inward on their own, then spread back out.

"All the glowing plants we've passed so far have been still, so I think this one that moves is really unusual," Lin Li said with a smile.

Wu Qingfang thought back to some of the materials she'd read about plants in the Ruins Space, then spoke up.

"I remember that this kind of moving glowing plant is one of the few varieties in the Ruins Space that bears fruit. Let's go take a look and see if it has any."

Lin Li nodded, and he and Wu Qingfang headed toward the moving glowing plant.

It wasn't far away. In less than three minutes, they reached their destination.

"Wu Qingfang, you were right. This glowing plant really does have fruit."
