Commemorating Lin Li, Whose Bones Were Gone (Two Chapters in One)

"Tap, tap, tap..."

All around him were glowing plants. Lin Li walked steadily through the stone forest.

Based on the information he had just received, he would be able to leave the stone forest and see a stream after walking forward for a little while longer.

A series of loud explosions suddenly came from behind him. Lin Li immediately stopped, turned around, and looked toward the source of the explosions.

"Strange. Why was there fighting in that direction again?"

Lin Li looked quizzically toward the distant source of the explosions. One towering stone pillar after another toppled in the distance, kicking up enormous clouds of dust.

After stopping to observe for a while, the explosive sounds rapidly receded into the distance.

Lin Li, who had already decided to leave this underground space and return to the surface, had no intention of going to take a look.

He continued forward in an orderly fashion, following the direction indicated earlier by the man with a black birthmark on his forehead.

A dozen minutes later, Lin Li left the stone forest that the human ancestors of the ancient Spirit Realm had left behind.

There really was a stream not far away. Its clear water flowed merrily, producing crisp, pleasant sounds that made people feel exceptionally refreshed.

Lin Li came to the stream and looked down at its crystal-clear depths. He did not see a single small fish in it.

"Gurgle..."

It was mealtime, and his stomach began to growl.

The expected hunger surged over him, making Lin Li, who had been looking down at the stream, immediately furrow his brow.

I'll eat lunch before leaving. Lin Li looked around at the scenery beside the stream. Feeling that it was quite nice, he decided to have lunch here.
