Strange Anomalous Phenomena (Two Chapters Combined)

Without any external force acting on them, the handsome young man and his friends stopped falling over.

After scrambling up from the ground, the group wore panicked expressions. What had just happened to them was simply too bizarre.

"Ha ha ha..."

Suddenly, a burst of roaring laughter came from nearby, interrupting the handsome young man and his friends' thoughts.

Recalling how they had toppled over one after another, they immediately felt terribly embarrassed. They did not even finish the remaining food, paying the bill and leaving the restaurant at once.

Because of this strange little episode, no one else went up to Su Yue to strike up a conversation or ask for her contact information.

Su Yue and Wang Ling simply assumed that the group had been performing some kind of performance art. They did not think much of it and continued eating and chatting. After finishing their meal, they picked up their shopping bags and left the restaurant.

"Today's weather is so hot!"

After coming out of the restaurant and leaving its cool environment for the outside world, they were immediately hit head-on by a wave of heat.

The contrast between the cold and heat was rather stark, and their senses were somewhat uncomfortable. Wang Ling hurriedly took a pair of sunglasses from her bag and put them on.

Su Yue, standing beside her, smiled and said, "The shade over there should be cooler. Let's hurry over!"

"Mm." After putting on her sunglasses, Wang Ling nodded, then walked with her friend toward the shade beneath the roadside trees.

A vacant taxi happened to drive out from around the street corner in the distance. This delighted the two women, who had been preparing to wait by the roadside for a car to take them to the flower and bird market.
