A breeze swept through the roadside trees lining both sides of the street. Their lush branches swayed gently, colliding with one another and producing waves of sound.

Xia Qing rode her electric scooter home with her daughter.

As they passed a certain spot, Xia Qing suddenly remembered that some of the seasonings she needed for cooking had run out at home.

So she parked the electric scooter by the roadside and climbed off.

"Mom?" Zhou Tongtong, who was eating little biscuits, looked at Xia Qing in confusion.

"Tongtong, I'm going to the grocery store over there to buy a few things. Sit obediently on the scooter and wait for me to come back..." Xia Qing pointed at a grocery store in the distance and explained with a smile.

"Mm." Zhou Tongtong nodded, then watched Xia Qing's quickly departing back.

Before long, Xia Qing walked into a grocery store in the distance.
