"Bang."

Because he had failed to watch his step, the black-clad man wearing a crow mask and chasing the briefcase tripped and fell to the ground.

"Damn it." The tall leader had no intention of letting the spoils already in his grasp be stolen. He shouted and kicked off the ground, shooting forward and chasing after it at an astonishing speed.

"Clack, clack, clack..."

The briefcase flying through the air broke apart, scattering crystal-clear spiritual stones and chunks of dark-brown spiritual-energy material.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh..."

Shrill sounds tearing through the air rang out. The chunks of dark-brown spiritual-energy material shot toward the tall leader who had caught up.

Faced with the attack launched by an unknown enemy, the tall leader immediately stopped.

He twisted and darted about, dodging every piece of spiritual-energy material aimed at him with extreme difficulty.

The chunks of spiritual-energy material sank into the ground, sending dust billowing. If he had failed to dodge and taken a hit, he would at least have suffered minor injuries.
