Worsening (Two Chapters Combined)

"Clang, clang, clang..."

A noise came from the bedroom. A middle-aged man was repairing the completely ruined window in Lin Li's bedroom.

"Tap, tap, tap..."

Footsteps sounded outside the door, and a figure appeared in the doorway.

"Master, have some water!" Lin Li entered the bedroom holding a bottle of mineral water and spoke to the middle-aged man repairing the window.

"Thanks. Just put it on the floor. I'll drink it later." The middle-aged man repairing the window turned around and replied to Lin Li.

Just then, the cellphone in his pocket suddenly rang.

The middle-aged man repairing the window set down his tools, reached into his pocket, took out his cellphone, and answered the call.

"Hello... That's right, that size... Get the materials delivered as soon as possible... Drive carefully on the way."

After ending the call, the middle-aged man took the bottle of mineral water Lin Li had just placed on the floor, unscrewed the cap, and drained nearly half the bottle in one go.

After drinking, he smiled at Lin Li and said, "The materials will arrive in another half hour. We should be able to finish everything before noon."
