The sound of running water rang out in the bathroom. Before long, white mist filled it to the brim.
A graceful figure appeared and vanished within the mist. From time to time, a melodious song drifted out of the bathroom.
A moment later, the bathroom door opened, and Su Yue emerged with graceful steps, dressed in a thin blue slip nightdress.
After taking a hot shower, Su Yue's fair, tender skin looked even more delicate.
She flopped onto the bed and rolled back and forth across the spacious mattress.
When she stopped, she lay on her stomach, her long legs swinging up and down as the backs of her feet rhythmically tapped against the bed.
"It's been so long. Lin Li should have replied to my message by now, right?"
Su Yue muttered as she reached for the phone on the bed.
She unlocked the screen and opened her social media app. Sure enough, there was a message from Lin Li.

"Didn't you say you were going to take a break during the holiday and not go hunting in the wilderness? Why did you go hunting again, and even spend the night out there? Aren't you afraid of being attacked by beasts at night?"
After sending the voice message, Su Yue placed her phone to one side. She sat up and pulled the slipping strap of her nightdress back onto her rounded shoulder.
