Blue skies stretched endlessly without a cloud. In the residential compound, many elderly men and women were exercising beneath the trees.
Su Yue, beautiful as a flower and the moon, came out of the stairwell with a handbag slung over her arm and ran into several elderly residents she knew.
"Teacher Su, are you heading out to work?" one of the older women asked with a cheerful smile.
Su Yue nodded with a smile. "Yes. Have you eaten breakfast?"
An older man answered, "Not yet. We just finished exercising and were about to head home."
After exchanging a few pleasantries, Su Yue arrived at the parking shed. She wheeled out her scooter, and just as she put on her helmet, the phone in her handbag began to ring.
"Ring, ring..."
"Who is it?" Su Yue muttered, then opened the trunk and took out her phone.
"Hello, may I ask if this is Miss Su?" the caller asked after she answered.
"That's me. Who are you, and what's the matter?" Su Yue asked suspiciously.
"I'm calling from the courier station. You have a package. I'll deliver it to your school later," the courier said.
"Huh?" Su Yue was extremely surprised.
She hadn't bought anything online in the past two days. If it had been sent from her hometown, she had only recently spoken with her parents on the phone, and they hadn't mentioned sending her anything. So where had this package come from?
"Are you sure the package is mine?"
"It has your phone number written on it!"
"Um... all right, sorry for the trouble."
