History

Endless Food Bag

Chu Fan first appears as a dual-pistol fighter moving through Changhe Camp with a group of girls. His impressive poses conceal extremely poor accuracy, with only a handful of hits from more than one hundred shots. 6

He later explained that Boss Zhao's pursuit and the deaths of his wives drove him to seek revenge against Zhang Guangmu, whom he believed had leaked his whereabouts. After being captured, he was said to have confessed quickly under interrogation. 15 16

Friendship with Zhang Guangmu

Outside the filming setting, Chu Fan joined Zhang Guangmu and Li Xiaoxiao for their first offline meeting. He arrived early out of respect for the group's hierarchy, offered acting advice, and encouraged Zhang Guangmu to maintain social bonds rather than isolate himself. 62

On the Death Train, Chu Fan acted as a veteran passenger and initially projected confidence to keep other passengers in line. He later admitted that he was actually an Attendant: a staff member who guides passengers but is killed if he helps them reach Singularity Station. 511 554

As Sect Leader of the financially collapsing Feihong Swordsmanship Club, Chu Fan met an apparently injured and starving Zhang Guangmu in a park. Though initially suspicious that Zhang was a scammer, he bought him food after learning of his spinal injury. 652
