After Daoist Duobao was killed, three cultivators vied to claim the position as seven beams of Golden Core Seeking Light rose, while four more appeared outside the Treasure Gathering Cave Mansion.

• Tong Moli realized Candle Lord was likely gone and feared the Fire Worship Cult would lose its standing among Golden Core sects; she also suspected Deng Guanjian and Gai Qingyun were using the gathering to undergo tribulation.

Yan Qing and his companions attempted to prove their Golden Cores at Western Xia’s Dusty Heaven, with Yan Qing forging a Cave Heaven and claiming the End of Qingping Calamity position. He and the others completed their Golden Cores, and the chapter ended with them celebrating together.

• Deng Guanjian and Gai Qingyun greeted Yan Qing, Shang Xin Lei, Yaoshi Yuan, and their companion as Calamity Lords, and Yan Qing decided they would seize [Remaining Lives of All Beings].
• Deng Guanjian gave the four three thousand Immortal Spirit Jades, and Yan Qing promised they would gather the world's wealth without waiting years.
• Time-Dependent Si Jun entered her time rift and attacked Foundation Establishment cultivators, but a long-haired young man broke into the rift and wounded her with gray flames.
• Vimalakirti appeared and tried to take the long-haired young man back to Spirit Mountain, but the man transformed into a gray-flame fiendish ape and threatened to kill everyone.
• As Chang Sheng Tian sent another Sixth Turn True Person to seek a Golden Nature and the factions prepared to clash, Yan Qing and the other three Golden Cores descended and stopped everyone.

Yan Qing and the other three Golden Cores confronted the factions competing for [Remaining Lives of All Beings], and Yan Qing reached the eighth revolution to defeat and permanently kill the demon immortal. Jiang Shi claimed the calamity position, the factions yielded, and Yan Qing prepared to pursue the Ascension Path as Herald of Calamity.

• Yan Qing revealed that he and his companions controlled the [Remaining Lives of All Beings] calamity position and ordered the other factions to surrender it or their own calamity positions.
• The demon immortal attacked Yan Qing, who joined the origins of three calamity positions and reached the eighth revolution as the exclusive Calamity Herald.
