The infantrymen held their breath one after another, aiming their rifles at the charging orcs, fingers tightly curled around the triggers.
At the center of the wagon laager, Auffina clenched her fists and stared fixedly at the defensive line. Irene, meanwhile, hid behind a wagon, secretly poking her head out. Her little face was flushed with tension.
"One hundred and fifty paces! Fire!"
The moment the order was given, a dense barrage of gunfire erupted across the prairie. Bullets poured toward the Orcish Cavalry.
