Morr's transformation lowered humanity's chances of victory even further.

As long as she had the strength to hold Elfa for an extended period, no one could stop Ji's actions. After slaughtering the weaker enemies, the two of them could then join forces to deal with the more troublesome individuals.

It seemed like an almost certain defeat.

"Should we retreat first?" Xu Ying had enough time to observe the battle. After clearly assessing the situation, he asked Xu Muchi.

Before this, no one, including Gu Yan, had expected that despite so many powerful individuals, they would still lose so badly. Nearly half of their high-tier combat power was lost, while the Herrscher remained full of vigor.

The main reason was the Herrscher's anti-biological energy shield, which was too much of a counter to the strong individuals of this world. Gu Yan wouldn't have imagined such a defense if he hadn't seen it with his own eyes.

Xu Muchi had been clashing with Ji, and Ji was determined to crush the weaker opponents. In front of Ji, those individuals couldn't even resist, let alone understand how they died. Even she was powerless to save them.

Ji frowned. Just before the explosion, she lost control of all the nuclear weapons within the fortress, and their locations became untraceable.

A flash of sword light passed, and Xu Muchi struck successfully, piercing Ji's "heart."

Another splash of blood bloomed. Gu Yan's right hand transformed into a blade, and he slashed diagonally from the Herrscher's back, leaving a hideous wound.

When Ji broke free from Xu Ying's restraints and disappeared and reappeared again, she was no longer cutting down the strong. Instead, she carried her wounded body, her gaze chilling.

The heavy stone in everyone's hearts was lifted. The God was bleeding!

"Where are you looking?"

Elfa had already transformed into human form and punched Morr in the back, heavily wounding her distracted opponent.

Having become a biological entity, Morr felt pain. She stumbled two steps from this blow, but her gaze was still fixed on Ji.

"You should worry about whether you can survive first!" Elfa snorted coldly.

"Heh heh... Hahaha!" Ji's laughter was filled with madness, making everyone's scalp tingle.

Her wounds were still bleeding, especially the one from Gu Yan's blade, which couldn't heal.

"You can't kill me," she stated with certainty, as if stating a fact.

Gu Yan's expression was vigilant, his palms constantly sweating from nervousness.

"At the end of your strength, kill her!"

Someone shouted, and then a barrage of attacks locked onto Ji. In her current state, she couldn't withstand it. The shield was broken. Although it had been repaired, its light had dimmed. The Herrscher before everyone's eyes was like a candle flickering in the wind.

"Ignorant and fearless ants."

Ji disappeared and charged into the crowd, holding a saber in one hand and a sword in the other. Her speed was no slower than before.

The saber swept horizontally, and one person, unable to dodge, was cut in half. The sword thrust out, and another person was pierced through the chest.

Xu Ying wanted to get closer but saw Ji throw both weapons directly at him. He could only dodge one of them, while the other blade directly pierced his side, the blade fully submerged. The impact of the hilt knocked Xu Ying back.

At this moment, Gu Yan saw the Herrscher's gaze lock onto him, a great sense of alarm surging. He stared intently at her movements, extending his arm forward to block in front of him, preventing vital areas like his heart from being attacked.

Ji charged and appeared beside Gu Yan. Gu Yan had been watching Ji the whole time and reacted just as quickly. While keeping one hand for defense, he thrust the other towards her, attempting to break through the shield again to create an opportunity for the Ability Users.

"Weak!"

With a bang, Ji landed a whip kick on Gu Yan's lower back, directly causing his internal organs to bleed. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. If he hadn't been prepared, he would have been kicked flying.

"Cough cough!"

The Herrscher only kicked him once before leaving. She had no intention of killing Gu Yan, which made him feel both relieved and very confused.

That kick, though, was brutally effective.

If his physique were any lower than fifty, that single blow would have sent him packing for good.

"She definitely knows I'm a Herrscher, otherwise I'd be dead already!" Gu Yan concluded internally.

Xu Muchi was hot on Ji's heels. The moment Ji paused after heavily wounding Gu Yan, Xu Muchi had prepared to strike. She'd expected Gu Yan to hold her off for a bit, but the Herrscher had just kicked him and left, with no real pause at all.

Even in that fleeting instant, however, she'd predicted the Herrscher's next move and unleashed several sword energies, wounding the Herrscher again.

"It's useless, useless!"

Ji's voice came from an unseen location. As everyone turned towards the sound, she reappeared in another direction.

Crack!

A bone-snapping sound echoed. Ji, already bearing over a dozen wounds of varying sizes, reappeared, her hand clamped around someone's throat. Her seemingly delicate fingers were like the grim reaper's claws, crushing the cervical spine.

Her chest heaved, clearly indicating immense physical exertion.

"Let's see how much longer you can hold on!"

With each kill, her injuries worsened. As long as her victims weren't instantly killed, their desperate counterattacks would damage Ji's shield and body.

This massacre had been going on for a long time. The stench of blood was so thick even the sea breeze couldn't disperse it. A-Class combatants were practically wiped out, and a third of the S-Class had also fallen, all slaughtered by the Herrscher as if they were ants.
