"Quadruple Schism" has been a surprise for me. I remember it was on a very memorable, ordinary day, with no special effects, no heavenly auspicious signs, no foxes howling, no wind, rain, thunder, or lightning, no dreams from great figures...

I suddenly thought: "Ah! Let's write about a mental patient~"

And then the prologue came out like this...

To be able to reach this point step by step (though it's only 150,000 characters so far) is hard for me to believe. What's even harder to believe is that you all have accompanied me this far, diligently restraining your "Kirin arms" from aggressively clicking the right-click button~

It's quite terrifying...

To be honest, for someone with severe procrastination, it's truly terrifying and puts a lot of pressure on me...

Very, very occasionally, when I see myself writing four thousand characters in a day, I have to desperately hold down the lid of the coffin that suppresses my conscience, lest I break down in tears...

So, since I can't be more efficient, I can only repay you all with the richest story possible~ I take seriously every story, every character, every foreshadowing, and every cliffhanger in my writing [serious face]...

Let's talk about something serious...

"Quadruple Schism" is not an easy story to handle. In fact, I always feel like I'm creating four works simultaneously, with vastly different styles.

"Mo Tan" is also not an easy protagonist to handle. This mental patient causes me trouble almost constantly.

Every character gives me a headache because I always want them to be as "alive" as possible, to be flesh and blood, to have a unique image in everyone's minds.

Not to mention the process of creating this genre requires constant vigilance against countless potential logical loopholes, doing my best to plan ahead, prevent problems, and try to slack off... (Nothing was mixed in!)

So, it's really not easy...

But I will do my best to guarantee the quality of the work, to make it comfortable for you to read. If you can occasionally chuckle knowingly or spit out your drink, even better~

I will also strive to avoid breaking updates, after all, I've already said it's hard for me to have bursts of writing, so breaking updates again would really be inappropriate...

I won't beg for votes. I didn't in the past, and I probably won't in the future, because I believe reading is a pure, joyful activity, and I don't want to say anything superfluous to spoil that purity.

If you like it, I am already satisfied.
