Background / History

Chen Xuan was a businessman whose childhood sweetheart and girlfriend, Xian Yuyan, absconded with his company’s assets after becoming involved with a wealthy second-generation heir. Disillusioned by the betrayal and his business failure, he returned to Chen Family Village, where he resolved to spend more time with his parents after realizing how much he had neglected them. 1 60

Soon after returning, Chen Xuan discovered that the space beneath his bed led to Buzhou Mountain in the Primordial World. There he encountered Nuwa, identified her as the future Mother of Humanity, and later brought her through the passage to modern-day Earth. To help her blend in, he gave her the modern identity of Feng Xi. 1 2

Rather than leave village life behind, Chen Xuan used his business experience to organize watermelon sales, contract farmland, and build an agriculture-based revival plan around Primordial spiritual resources.
