Background / History

Herta founded and owns the space station that bears her name. The station’s reputation derives from her standing in the universe, attracting researchers who joined specifically because they admired her intellect and achievements. 1

After Chen Mu arrived at the station, Herta repeatedly verified that his exceptional intelligence was neither the result of de-aging nor a connection to the Erudition Aeon. Fascinated by the anomaly, she introduced him to the Aeon of Erudition, who admitted him to the Genius Club despite his lack of connection to Erudition. 1

When Chen Mu completed Space Teleportation research, Herta recognized the achievement as humanity gaining access to an Aeon-like power and remained intrigued by the many unexplained aspects of his work. 9

Herta was absent during the Anti-Matter Legion’s assault on her station. On her return, she thanked Chen Mu for protecting it and immediately focused on the unusual Stellaron vessel, Stelle. 35

She sought Stelle’s consent to study the Stellaron, accepted that compensation should be provided, and invited Chen Mu to participate. Although Chen Mu declined, Herta continued the research herself. 36
