Because the Beast Goddess had already occupied the north, filling it with monsters, while a mysterious transformation into dense woodland had appeared in the south, turning the entire region into a jungle, Uruk could now be said to be under attack from both sides. It had to withstand the assault of the monster army, yet it could not retreat southward either. Trapped between them, it could only hold its ground.
Luo Zhen had arrived in the northern region occupied by the monsters. To reach Uruk, he first had to head south.
