The Wanderer of Paradise
This was a barren wilderness some distance from the Demonic Beast Front, a lonely place that even the Demonic Beast armies would never set foot in.
All that remained here were rock layers exposed to the air and withered wood that seemed utterly lifeless, making the place look like some secluded mountain region.
At one point, a flurry of flower petals rose here, spiraling and swirling through the air in a breathtakingly beautiful display.
However, once the dance of the flowers ended and all the petals scattered, several figures appeared in the center of the Flower Array.
"Where is this...?"
Luo Zhen, Mashu, and Attila felt their vision blur as countless flower petals obscured their sight. When the petals dispersed, they found themselves in this place, leaving all three somewhat astonished.
"Guh!"
Nearby, Ishtar, her entire body covered in glowing talismans, also fell to the ground, landing face-first yet again and forcing a tiny wail from between her lips.
"Fou!"
Fou also descended from the sky, landing squarely on the back of Ishtar's head.
The group had thus escaped the battlefield and arrived in this place.
"All right, we should be safe here."
Only then did the Flower Magus reveal a smug expression, as though he had finally completed a great accomplishment.
"What do you think? This is my specialty, you know—the art of deception. Interesting, isn't it?"
If one were to call it interesting, then it was indeed somewhat interesting.
At the very least, Luo Zhen could tell that the reason they had suddenly appeared in this place was not because the Flower Magus had used some grand spell like Spatial Transfer or spatial jumping. It was, just as he had said, a form of deception.
