----"Okita Souji."
----"Oda Nobunaga."
These were two more renowned figures whose names resounded like thunder.
The former was the captain of the Shinsengumi's First Division during the end of the shogunate, a famous Genius Swordsman in Japanese history. She had entered Tennen Rishin-ryū under Kondo Shusuke at the age of nine, displaying extraordinary talent with the sword. Alongside Nagakura Shinpachi, captain of the Shinsengumi's Second Division, and Saito Hajime, captain of the Third Division, she was known as one of the Shinsengumi's three greatest swordsmen. Her swordsmanship was said to be unmatched, yet tuberculosis forced her to leave the front lines and depart from the Shinsengumi. Many people had once said that if this Genius Swordsman's life had been extended by about ten years, the title of the strongest swordsman in Japanese history might have fallen into her hands. Though she had died young, she had slain countless powerful enemies while alive. She was a famous Man-slayer and executioner who had earned immense renown, and had become an ideal pursued by many swordsmen of later generations.
As for the latter, there was even less to say. Her name was so resounding that it even surpassed Minamoto no Yoshitsune's by a little.
She was a daimyo of the Azuchi-Momoyama period and a hero of the Sengoku era. In essence, she had overthrown the Muromachi Shogunate and played a tremendous role in bringing an end to the long Sengoku era that had begun with the Ōnin War. She had introduced many famous historical innovations, advocated Tenka Fubu, and proclaimed herself the Sixth Heaven Demon King, taking for herself the religious title of the demon king
