Gilgamesh's Request
Once they had decided on their plans, Luo Zhen and the others promptly withdrew from the Divine Tower without lingering.
King Gilgamesh had no shortage of matters to deal with. From wars to household affairs, he handled everything personally, and was so busy that he barely had time to sleep. For him to set his duties aside temporarily to discuss things with Luo Zhen and the others was already an immense favor.
Seeing his workload, even Luo Zhen couldn't help feeling shaken.
After all, Luo Zhen had served as the head of a faction in other worlds and handled all kinds of affairs himself. Precisely because of that, he knew exactly how much energy and effort Gilgamesh's workload demanded.
To put it bluntly, this wasn't something a human being could handle at all. Only a Wise King like Gilgamesh, who was half human and half god, could endure it.
Even so, as Luo Zhen was leaving, Gilgamesh couldn't help saying one more thing.

That was an extraordinarily generous promotion.
If Luo Zhen really became an aide, he would stand on equal footing with Siduri, the Chief Priest of the priesthood. It was easy to imagine just how astonishing this promotion was.
The fact that Gilgamesh had actually offered such a promotion probably meant that he truly had been impressed by Luo Zhen's performance the previous day. On top of that, he was likely thoroughly fed up with being buried under so many affairs.
Thus, Luo Zhen bid him farewell
