"Ha!"
Under the night sky, a figure scattering brilliant fire powder flew swiftly away from the direction of the Fir Forest.
A short while later, wrapped in fire powder, the figure slowly descended toward the ground, landing atop a dilapidated building in a Ruined City.
"Whew..."
Luo Zhen exhaled and felt the scant amount of magical energy remaining in his body, giving a bitter smile.
Two figures appeared beside him in succession.
"Senpai!"
Mashu hurriedly supported Luo Zhen.
"Are you all right?"
Attila also looked at Luo Zhen, frowning.
"I'm fine."
Luo Zhen shook his head and smiled at the worried Mashu and the deeply frowning Attila.
Only after seeing that Luo Zhen could still smile did Mashu and Attila finally relax a little.
The people in Chaldea also breathed a sigh of relief.
"Fortunately, although his magical energy was depleted rather severely, the condition of his Magic Circuits seems to be starting to recover. The nourishment and recuperation he received recently weren't in vain."
Da Vinci's voice came through the communicator.
"Judging from this trend, it shouldn't worsen. It's fortunate you didn't keep fighting."
Roman also clearly let out a sigh of relief.
"You were far too reckless. You knew your own condition, yet you still insisted on acting tough. Setting aside the matter of rescuing everyone in the temple, you didn't need to personally fight Gorgon at all. You could have left her to Attila and Mashu, couldn't you?"
Director Olga Marie had evidently released the tension that had kept her taut, only to angrily berate him a moment later.
The director wasn't wrong.
Setting aside the rescue of the people inside the temple, Luo Zhen really shouldn't have personally taken the field against Gorgon. Leaving her to Attila and Mashu would have been the best choice.
