Zhang Qing claimed Blood Fang and returned in time to help repel the Ghoul Tide, allowing Cheng Qiping to advance along the Grain Dream path. After the victory, Great Xia expanded its influence through trade and military campaigns, while Zhang Qing prepared to travel to Serpent Emperor City and faced Hu Feiyun for their promised fight.

• Zhang Qing and Su Yue dug beneath Treasure Snatching Mountain, then Zhang Qing fought through the princes and claimed Blood Fang as Su Yue completed her Theater and began advancing.
• As the Ghoul Tide threatened Mountain City and its crops, Great Xia mobilized players and armies, and the Blood Dragon Army and Tyrant Army fought to hold the line.
• Zhang Qing returned with Su Yue and the Gnawing Border Army, helping drive back the Specters while Rat Emperor City’s supernaturals kept Li Qi from intervening.
• Cheng Qiping advanced through Grain Dream despite Rong Gen’s attempt to suppress the path, and Zhang Qing shot Li Qi with his newly evolved archery technique, forcing the Abyssal Sequence to retreat.
• After the victory, Zhang Qing negotiated trade routes and presented the Imperial Cities map to Great Xia, while Li Wannian planned to prepare for players reaching the Sunrise Realm.
• Old Fan Deng asked Zhang Qing to help a prince in Serpent Emperor City’s succession contest and promised him the Scale Orthodox Sequence and nine Fate Stones.
• Zhang Qing assigned Ouyang Lin and Li Liming to lead campaigns against War City and Qi City, where Xi Fang and Ouyang Lin completed their promotions and the armies secured both cities as Theaters.
• Li Qi organized attacks on player caravans, but Great Xia players tracked the Specters’ movements, and Zhang Qing and Hu Feiyun rushed into the wilderness to settle their promised fight.

Zhang Qing used the Color Sequence and the turmoil among the Imperial Cities to build a coalition and expand Great Xia’s influence. The arc ended with him confronting Chen Lan, the Blood Venerable, who tried to guide him toward the Martial Path while Zhang Qing declared them enemies.

• Zhang Qing and Hu Feiyun fought to a draw, then set out for Serpent Emperor City as Fan Adkin committed Tiger Imperial City to supporting Zhang Qing’s advancement.
• Zhang Qing used the clans’ interest in the Color Sequence to secure gifts and sell a Support Sequence template, with one of the Serpent Venerable’s scales as the price.
• Zhang Qing and Hu Feiyun distributed Color Sequences to Serpent Emperor City’s princes, provoking a fight that drew in Su Yue and escalated into conflict among the Imperial Cities.
• Great Xia launched campaigns along three routes while Zhang Qing led the Dragon Scale Army against the Mitian Border Army and made a deal with Mi E to raid orthodox lineages together.
• Yang Man secured her position as Sheep Emperor City’s Sole Highness, and Zhang Qing’s coalition of border armies swept through Orthodox Sequence factions.
• Zhang Qing refused to report the Blood Venerable and invited the Imperial City princes and Dao Lineages to witness their fight at Great Green Mountain.
• Chen Lan discarded Blood Fang and attacked Zhang Qing with an ordinary longsword, seeking to lead him toward Martial Path Extreme authority rather than kill him.
• Zhang Qing countered Chen Lan with Blood Dragon and declared that he would kill him if he threatened Great Xia’s survival.

After defeating Chen Lan and uniting the Imperial Cities, Zhang Qing gathered wealth and prepared Great Xia for Blue Star’s fall. When the planet was pulled toward the Sky City Battlefield, the defenders formed a line, but their enemies broke through and entered Blue Star.

• Zhang Qing defeated Chen Lan, who reached a realm beyond Martial God, revealed Vast Righteous Qi, and urged Zhang Qing to defy fate before vanishing.
• Zhang Qing gathered wealth from the Dark Realm’s Dao Lineages and helped select all eleven Imperial City Sole Highnesses, while his forces crushed those who resisted.
• Zhang Qing returned to Great Xia and, with Li Wannian, prepared its armies and players for Blue Star Fall as the Dark Realm’s powers began appearing in reality.
• Hu Feiyun foresaw Blue Star falling into a vast battle, and Fan Adkin told Zhang Qing that the Sovereigns were using his tide of fate.
• Great Xia revealed that Blue Star would fall, and Sequence Users left their families to gather at the Imperial Capital as the Blood Dragon Army and Dragon Scale Army moved into position.
• At midnight on 2036.4.24, the tide of destiny silenced technology and pulled Blue Star toward the Sky City Battlefield as surrounding planets were destroyed.
• Yan Qingshan led the Tyrant Army and Pebble Border Army into battle, while Imperial City, Sky City, and Ghoul Tribe forces formed a defensive line around Blue Star.
• Great Ghouls, intelligent machines, and Sky City Sequence users broke through the defenders and entered Blue Star.

Zhang Qing helped Great Xia survive the Specter invasion, defeated Alberri, and brought Blue Star into the Imperial City sphere while Great Xia rebuilt under a new political order. As rival Imperial City factions prepared to send their Highnesses into the Dark Side, Zhang Qing agreed to fight alongside Yang Man and Hu Feiyun.

• Specters and Transcendents attacked Great Xia, but Yun Xiaoxi advanced to Sequence Four, awakened Being Loved, and helped Zhang Qing kill Deep Fang.
• Alberri descended with Sky City’s forces and challenged Zhang Qing, who protected Blue Star and summoned Ares’s armor as their battle began.
• As Great Xia’s people lit fires and refused to abandon one another, Zhang Qing gained the Spark Authority, shielded the nation, and broke Alberri’s Theater.
• Zhang Qing defeated Alberri and reclaimed the Mechanical Heart, while Yang Man and Hu Feiyun advanced and the Imperial Cities’ Highnesses began their own breakthroughs.
• Zhang Qing brought Blue Star to the Imperial City sphere, returned to Great Xia, and agreed to keep its government separate from his own authority.
• Fan Adkin explained how Sequence Users could wash away their ranks and collect authorities in the Dark Side, while Zhang Qing arranged Great Xia’s recovery and new governing structure.
• Zhang Qing negotiated with the visiting Dao Lineages and agreed to travel to the Dark Side with Yang Man as the Imperial City Lords’ rival plans threatened to plunge the realm into conflict.
• Hu Feiyun and Yang Man revealed that opposing Lord factions were preparing rival campaigns against the First Generation Ancestors and one another, and Zhang Qing agreed to fight beside them.
