Great Xia and the Imperial Cities uncovered the Dragon Venerable’s vanished existence and searched for a way to revive him as Sky City launched a war against them. The arc left Great Xia defending its homeland and migrant families from Sky City’s armies on two fronts.

• Lin Tian revealed that his Dawn Sequence was collapsing, and the leaders of Great Xia realized that the Dragon Venerable had been erased from their memories and might still be revived.
• She Qi sought Great Xia’s protection in the contest for Serpent Emperor City’s Sole Highness, while Yang Man and the other Imperial City Highnesses recognized their ties to the Dragon Venerable and worked to block the contest.
• Hu Sisi led the Imperial Cities in reclaiming their lost territory, but Sky City’s Great Venerables revived and Si Bei Li mobilized the Mechanical Heavenly Courts to begin a war.
• As the Imperial Cities retreated, Li Wannian ordered Great Xia to abandon its outer territories, and Lin Tian, Zhu Yi, and Xin Dao destroyed Sky City’s military cities in the Supreme Mountain Range.
• Great Xia completed its migration and formed a defensive line along the Star River, but its leaders failed to agree on the Bell Ringing Plan to summon back the Dragon Venerable.
• Sky City assembled a vast force to attack Great Xia, and Jiao Ang’s Hunter Corps ambushed Olais’s assault before Si Bei Li launched a larger attack against the Alloy City Wall.
• While Li Liming reinforced Great Xia’s front, Si Bei Li sent Ter’s Sequence Sixes through the wall to target the migrants on Pangu Continent.
• Bai Yuan led the Judgment Border Army against Ter, while Li Liming sent Dragon Flame to seal the breach and coordinated the Hunter Corps’ interception of Sky City’s reinforcements.

As Sky City’s assault drove Great Xia to the brink, its people’s sacrifices helped Zhang Qing return through the birth of a new Dragon Venerable. Zhang Qing reclaimed part of Hao’s Survival Authority, returned to Great Xia, and began investigating the River of Destiny while pursuing ways to restore the dead.

• Si Bei Li forced Sky City’s Sequence Users into repeated assaults on Great Xia by threatening them with bombs embedded in their Format Source Codes, while Great Xia’s defenders and evacuation forces suffered heavy losses.
• Sky City’s attacks overwhelmed several cities and armies, but Cheng Yu’s sacrifice brought Great Xia a miracle, and Hu Feiyun and Yang Man recovered memories of Zhang Qing’s plan.
• Hao struck at Blue Star, but Great Xia’s people sacrificed themselves to ring the Pendulum of Fate until Hu Feiyun completed the count and became a Lord.
• A Dragon Venerable emerged from Great Green Mountain and restored Blue Star, then used Yun Xiaoxi’s Nirvana Mark and love to retrieve Zhang Qing’s True Spirit and return him to life.
• Zhang Qing established Dragon Court’s Waypoints, fused with the Dragon Venerable, and fought Hao, taking a fragment of Hao’s Survival Authority before Hao fled.
• Zhang Qing returned to Great Xia, mourned its fallen, and promised to find a way to bring them back, then accepted Jie’s proposal to form an Orthodox Sequence to retrieve their True Spirits.
• Zhang Qing allied the Progenitors with the Imperial City Lords to investigate the River of Destiny’s breach, where he tested the gateway and concluded that it had appeared by coincidence.
• Zhang Qing returned to the Dark Side and began studying Star Arrays, while telling Yun Xiaoxi he might be able to help her become a Progenitor.

Zhang Qing built the Wisteria Divine Kingdom to empower Yun Xiaoxi’s Flower Lord, while Hao began constructing a Mechanical Divine Kingdom. As the Venerable Lords attempted the Ultimate Leap, Zhang Qing realized that the Sequence system made transcendence impossible.

• Zhang Qing entered the Star Array worlds with Yun Xiaoxi and Little Lion, discovered how the Progenitors’ power was exploited, and devised a plan to build Flower Lord from faith for Yun Xiaoxi.
• Yun Xiaoxi became the Flower Lord to the Qi Feng Tribe, and the Wisteria Divine Kingdom expanded by offering protection and food before conquering Lufeng Island and the Shuichan Tribe.
• Hao infiltrated the Flame Divine Kingdom but retreated when the eleven divine kingdoms united against him, then began building a Mechanical Divine Kingdom in the Sea World.
• Zhang Qing helped Great Xia researchers study the Star Array system, investigated the Venerable Lords’ lifespan limits with Tiger Venerable, rejected Jie’s proposal to end the Sequences, and declared himself Dragon Venerable.
• Yun Xiaoxi completed Flower Lord’s Star Array, while Zhang Qing gathered the Venerables’ support and prepared to watch their Ultimate Leap.
• The eleven Venerable Lords entered the Chaos Sea, endured the Lightning Calamity, and faced the Fire Calamity, which forced their True Spirits toward Ultimate Sublimation.
• After Little Lion identified the flames as a trial that burned away True Spirits, Zhang Qing concluded that transcendence required severing all karma with the cosmos, a path made impossible by the Sequence’s flaw.

Zhang Qing used faith and the Martial Path to strengthen True Spirits, expand the Wisteria Divine Kingdom, and investigate the hidden purpose of the Venerable Lords and Divine Rules. Hu Feiyun inherited the Tiger Venerable’s seat, while Zhang Qing prepared to confront Hao and pursue the Ultimate Leap.

• Phoenix Venerable fell into the Chaos Sea as the other Venerable Lords discovered the apparent Other Shore was an illusion and they were trapped in the Temporal Prison.
• Zhang Qing used Flower Lord’s faith and a war-sacrifice ceremony to retrieve Li Wannian’s True Spirit, restore his body, and return him to Great Xia.
• Zhang Qing established the Martial Path World and Tower, where challengers trained and his duels with Jie helped him strengthen his True Spirit through faith.
• The dojos allied against the Wisteria and Mechanical Divine Kingdoms, but Zhang Qing turned the Wisteria forces against Hao and exposed the Mechanical Divine Kingdom as the apparent evil-god faction.
• After Tiger Venerable died, Zhang Qing entered the River of Destiny and learned that the Venerable Lords’ authority and True Spirits nourished divine laws, and he rejected Kid Brother’s offer of Reincarnation.
• Jie revealed that Hao was allied with Destiny and warned Zhang Qing that Divine Rule incarnations and the Ultimate Leap threatened the universe, prompting Zhang Qing to question Hu Feiyun and prepare for hidden plots.
• Zhang Qing guarded Hu Feiyun’s ascension, killed a Tiger Clan exile who tried to claim the Lord’s seat, and faced Kid Brother, who chose to join Hao against him.
• Hu Feiyun became the new Tiger Venerable and learned that the Lords’ inheritance was connected to cages and the origin of their race, while Zhang Qing urged him to train for the Ultimate Leap and vowed to defeat Hao.
