The arc ended with Fire Dragon Cave’s elders accepting his Supreme Body essence blood as a chance to advance their cultivation.

• Fire Dragon Cave’s elders prized Meng Zhao’s essence blood, while Meng Zhao reconciled with Tang Ling’er and planned to bring her to Lingwu City.
• A village chief and Old Man Wu discussed Meng Zhao’s growing power and the Imperial Court’s weakening hold over the Northern Lands, while a Moon Guard branch struggled with unpaid stipends.
• Meng Zhao trapped the Moon Guard agents, compelled one to reveal the network, and recruited Old Man Wu to help infiltrate and take control of the Moon Guards.
• Meng Zhao discovered that Ma Ruzhen was Liang Prefecture’s Moon Guard Commander and confronted him at Ma Family Manor.

• Ma Shaokang survived the pool and sought revenge, then followed Shanhua to her grandfather’s valley while Meng Zhao watched his fortune unfold.
• Meng Zhao revealed himself to Mountain Lord and proposed Lü Yue as a husband for Shanhua, while Ma Shaokang accepted Mountain Lord’s conditions to learn martial arts.
• Mountain Lord taught Ma Shaokang the dangerous Kunpeng Art through Shanhua, then secretly triggered his Qi Deviation and buried him after his death.
