Jonathan shouted.
An invisible energy barrier spread outward from the station tracks. The moment the Inner World formed, the train was dragged inside as well, along with the Supernatural Beings who had launched the attack.
'Lin Qi' was pulled into the barrier. The scenery within the Inner World was identical to the outside world, except its tones were much deeper, and even the air seemed murky.
"Isn't this really another space?"
Ryan was curious. The Inner World had not been mentioned much in the game, but generally speaking, how could a self-contained Independent Space like this be created with just a few Soul Jades?
Compared to that explanation, Ryan was more willing to believe that this so-called Inner World had always existed, and opening the barrier was merely the key to entering it.
The thought flashed through his mind, and Ryan turned his attention back to the interface.
At that moment, 'Lin Qi' had already begun moving with the two Supernatural Beings from the Gate of Janus.
The Hand of Darkness did not stop attacking just because the barrier had appeared. However, Jonathan had anticipated their route of attack, and with the barrier interfering, those Supernatural Beings came under attack the instant they entered it.
Jonathan was a legitimate Son of the Sun. His weapon was an iron staff, and every swing carried tremendous force, his attacks imbued with light energy.
The others from the Burning Covenant each had their own special abilities, and none of them were weak. The first wave of impact nearly stunned the Supernatural Beings from the Hand of Darkness.
'Lin Qi' ran without stopping. She rushed into the halted train and found Caslathdi inside.
Her Highness the Princess was accompanied by Eiko, along with more than a dozen guards armed with guns.
These people were from the Royal Guard. Their combat abilities far surpassed those of ordinary people. Even if their raw strength did not match that of Supernatural Beings, each of them carried a firearm and possessed exceptional skills.
Caslathdi gave 'Lin Qi' a look. The latter scanned her surroundings, then raised her head toward the roof of the carriage. Suddenly, with a bang, the roof was smashed open by an immense force.
Everyone hurriedly protected Caslathdi as they retreated. Eiko rushed forward and smashed her fist brutally into the falling figure.
A Second Tier Transcendent specializing in strength was terrifying when she unleashed her power. Ryan could even hear the air explode from that punch. The magic power that erupted in an instant shattered every train window.
The first attacker to fall was sent flying directly into the carriage wall, where he was crushed into a pulp.
But the attackers fell like dumplings into a pot. Their numbers far exceeded the initial estimate, and the guards soon began firing one after another.
"Why are there so many of them?"
Ryan was puzzled. The difference in numbers compared to the previous attack was simply too great.
What he did not know was that after Adler received Magana's order to capture them alive, he had mobilized nearly every Hand of Darkness member he could in Berman City.
After all, capturing someone alive was far more difficult than killing them.
On the screen, 'Lin Qi' had already reached Caslathdi's side. The two withdrew from the chaotic carriage, leaving the enemies for Eiko and the Royal Guard to deal with.
Meanwhile, the two Supernatural Beings from the Gate of Janus were locked in battle with two Second Tier Transcendents from the Hand of Darkness.

The moment the two retreated into the next carriage, black liquid suddenly dripped down from all around it. The slime fell onto the floor and transformed into humanoid monsters.

Her cold words fell.
Black flames spiraled out from around the Nun. Black Gloves on her left hand, the Blade of Erosion in her right, a demon spirit emerged from her shadow.
