One Hundred Percent!
High in the sky, Thunder Giant Serpent coiled.
Solett's face kept changing shape.
He sometimes had the face of a handsome human man, and sometimes revealed a terrifying, ferocious demon face with a bird's beak, which was extremely bizarre.
"Victor!"
Solett roared.
He seemed to be speaking to the entity within his own body.
Before long, a cloud of black mist seeped out from Solett's body.
Then it transformed into a phantom wearing a black crown in front of him.
The phantom wore a raven mask, obscuring its true face.
He wore a large cloak woven from black feathers and heavy black armor.
He sat like a solitary king on the "Feather Throne" woven from black feathers.
"Solett, what do you want with me again?" the illusory figure chuckled in a low voice.
"You know perfectly well what I'm asking! Victor, I need the power of your Seventh Apostle!" Solett said coldly.
"Is this how you wizards ask for favors?" Victor sneered.
"Victor, don't forget, without me, you would have vanished long ago. If you want to successfully return to the Abyss and reclaim your throne Abyss Lord, don't put on that arrogant attitude. We are just cooperating; I am not your slave," Solett said.
"I can provide you with the power of the Seventh Apostle, so what is the price?" Victor asked calmly.
"What price do you want?" Solett asked.
"I need a powerful and perfect body, one that can bear the power of the great Abyss Lord, the noble Black Feather Demon King Victor," Victor said.
"Would Fourth Ring Wizard's body work?" Solett asked, frowning.
"Fourth Ring Wizard? Solett, you may have some misunderstanding about the Abyss Lord's immense power. With your wizards' frail bodies, if you want to bear my power, you need to be at least Sixth Ring wizard. A Fourth Ring Wizard, unless they are Body Refinement Wizard, simply cannot bear my power." Victor shook his head, adopting a condescending attitude.
"Sixth Ring wizard? That's High-Rank Wizard, comparable to Abyss Lord. Where am I supposed to find one for you?!" Solett laughed angrily.
"Don't compare those trash Abyss Lord from before the 100th floor to me. In my prime, even the Hundred Eye Demon Lord who turned your Endless Sea upside down was no match for me."
"The Hundred Eye Demon Lord is a thing of the past. He has advanced to the [Lord of Thousand Eyes] and become a level nine demon lord. Even in your prime, you are not worthy to be compared to him."
"You... just tell me when you're going to prepare a suitable body for me. My power isn't something you can use at will," Victor said coldly, angered by Solett.
"Being a high-level Primal Soul Wizard is impossible. If I had that ability, I wouldn't have let you reside in my body; I would have killed you long ago. I will now search for a suitable mid-level Body Refinement Wizard, and once I find one, I will give you the body as soon as possible," Solett promised.
"A mid-level Body Refinement Wizard? That'll do, I'll make do with it for now."
"Now, you can lend me the power of your Seventh Apostle," Solett said.
Victor was silent for a moment, then he began to chant complex incantations, like the whispers of a demon, which were unsettling.
Within his black, misty, phantom-like body, a huge void appeared, pitch black, as if leading to an unknown realm.
From this hole, a seemingly ordinary crow flew out.
As soon as the crow appeared, it transformed into a handsome, effeminate young man with black hair.
"The Seventh Apostle, Dark Crow, pays respects to Your Majesty!" After the black-haired youth appeared, he knelt in the void and bowed to Victor.
Victor, the lord of the 223rd floor of the Abyss, is said to have eighteen familiars residing within him.
The first seven of the eighteen familiars are high-ranking demons comparable to High-Rank Wizard, while the rest are mid-ranking demons with various special abilities and outstanding strength.
The Seventh Apostle, Dark Crow, is actually a level six demon, the Crow Feather Demon, and is skilled in creating clones, stealth, and assassination.
Of course, this Dark Crow is merely a demonic manifestation condensed by Victor's divided soul, which resides within Solett's body, using a secret technique. It is only at the level of a newly entered fourth-level demon.
The real Dark Crow, along with Victor himself, was suppressed by Victor's enemies on the 223rd floor of the Abyss.
Long, long ago, Victor was betrayed by the most powerful and trusted First Apostle within him. That damned traitor, along with other territoryless high-ranking wandering demons from other layers, ambushed and severely injured Victor.
Victor's true form, along with the other seventeen familiars within him, was suppressed and refined by his enemies, never to rise again.
Now that so much time has passed, his power is constantly diminishing. If this continues, Victor will perish sooner or later.
Fortunately, Victor had a backup plan. During the previous war with the Wizard Civilization, Victor had left a wisp of his soul in the Mortal World.
This fragment of soul had been dormant in one place until Solett accidentally stumbled upon it. Victor then invaded Solett's body and became the old man inside Solett's body.
Ultimately, he reached an agreement with Solett by signing a soul contract.
Victor provides Solett with demonic power to fulfill his ambitions. Solett, in turn, must satisfy Victor's demands.
Victor wants to find a suitable body in the Wizard World, and then use arcane magic to fuse his split soul with the body to form a clone.
When the time is right, this clone will find a way to travel to the Abyss Plane, try to awaken the original body, take revenge on the traitor First Apostle, and reclaim its rightful throne!
Of course, right now, he is just a miserable, lonely soul unable to leave Solett's body and can only move by relying on Solett's power.
"Solett, I'm temporarily lending you the incarnation of my Seventh Apostle, Dark Crow. I hope you won't disappoint me."
Victor stared at Solett, then transformed into a cloud of black mist and merged into Solett's body.
The power to summon the Seventh Apostle was also a huge burden for Victor's already weakened soul fragment.
Solett stared at the vanished Victor, his eyes narrowed, radiating a dangerous aura. Then he looked at the dazed Dark Crow and said.
"Dark Crow, I want you to go to the Black Pearl Wizard Market, infiltrate it, and in the days to come, continuously create chaos and panic. If you are captured by Fifth Ring Wizard, you can self-destruct, but you absolutely must not reveal our relationship," Solett said.
Dark Crow's face was expressionless, like that of an emotionless assassin. He calmly said, "Since it is the King's will, I naturally have no problem with it. For me, it is nothing more than losing a demonic avatar. I haven't tasted the flavor of killing for far too long." When killing was mentioned, Dark Crow's expression became ferocious and excited.
That's just how demons are; it's their nature.
"Go," Solett said.
Without saying a word, Dark Crow transformed into a raven and flew towards the Black Pearl Wizard Market.
"With Dark Crow's stealth and assassination abilities, no wizard below the Fourth Ring in the Black Pearl Wizard Market is a match for Dark Crow. Although Dark Crow's clone is only at the fourth level, its abilities are far beyond those of ordinary fourth-level wizards. Even Fifth Ring wizard would have to put in a lot of effort to break through Dark Crow's stealth and disguise."
Garcia, that old bastard, probably won't be able to find Dark Crow anytime soon. This will undoubtedly continue to create panic in the Black Pearl Wizard Market, affecting its normal operation. When morale is low, then I'll take action.
Even if Garcia guessed that the demon was my doing, he had no evidence and was helpless against me.
Before long, Garcia will be begging me to buy out this chaotic Black Pearl Wizard Market.
"A mere rogue cultivator at the Fifth Ring level dares to challenge our Thunder Dragon Family? He's far too naive."
Solett left Fifth District directly, and from now on, the Black Pearl Wizard Market will never have a peaceful day.
Because the devil lurks all around us, waiting to devour us.
This is the price for defying the Thunder Dragon Family!
Black Pearl Wizard Market.
Old John has just returned from searching for medicine.
"The resources in this Endless Sea are becoming increasingly scarce. It would be great if we had our own resource-rich secret realm," Old John said with a worried expression.
"I wonder if Sha Wei Er has fixed my witchcraft artifact. Without it, I always feel uneasy when I'm out and about."
Old John had a Third Ring magical artifact, which was his prized possession. It had been with him for a long time and had saved his life many times.
Just recently, Sha Wei Er, who had some free time, finally began repairing his magical artifacts, which made Old John very much looking forward to it.
Suddenly, a black raven swooped down from the sky and flew towards Old John.
Old John sensed something was wrong, and his Third Ring Protective Force Field automatically lit up, with azure waves surrounding Old John, shimmering with runic light.
Third Ring Spell: Deep Water Guardian.
However, the next moment, the black raven's beak easily tore through Old John's Protective Force Field.
Old John's expression changed drastically.
His only talent was the ability to unleash an instantaneous attack spell.
Ripples spread outwards from him.
These Ripple Power enough to shatter rocks, push aside waves, and crush enemies.
The black raven's feathers shimmered with an eerie light, and demonic energy burned, enveloping its entire body and resisting the Ripple Power.
"Is this a demon?" Old John was terrified and quickly fled.
He knew that with his strength as an ordinary Third Ring wizard and apothecary, he was no match for this demon. If things continued like this, he would surely die.
The black raven let out a human-like laugh, then transformed into a black light and surged into Old John's body.
"Damn it!" Old John discovered that black feathers were growing wildly inside his internal organs.
These dense black feathers appeared on Old John's body and then quickly disappeared.
In Old John's sea of consciousness, the illusory image of a delicate and handsome young man slowly emerged, confronting Old John's mental power.
Goodbye, humans.
The young man sneered, and then a burst of black light appeared...
I don't know how much time has passed.
Old John, who had been struggling, finally stopped moving and stood there blankly in mid-air.
"A human nearing the end of his life... busy running around for materials for a potion that can prolong life, tsk tsk tsk."
Crow Feather Demon absorbed some of Old John's memories.
"Huh, Old John actually knows a Body Refinement Wizard named Levi, but unfortunately he's only at the Third Ring, which certainly won't satisfy the king."
"Fine, I'll have to send Solett to find a better body. This avatar of mine can only exist for a month. Now, let the killing begin."
Dark Crow's talent allows him to parasitize beings with weaker mental strength and peer into their memories.
Many mid-level and high-level demons in the Abyss possess this terrifying talent, the most famous being the Mind Flayer! It is precisely because of this that demons are so difficult to deal with, because they can often rely on their powerful camouflage abilities to hide among humans. If they do not use their demonic energy, they may not be able to detect them.
Old John flew swiftly toward the Black Pearl Wizard Market.
Arrive at the entrance of the magic circle.
"Lord John, you've been gone quite a while this time," the Second-Ring Wizard at the gate said with a smile.
"Don't even mention it, being a pharmacist is so tough, you can't find any of the ingredients, sigh," Old John sighed.
"Yes, there are more and more wizards, but fewer and fewer resources. I guess once this civil war ends, we'll have to start looking for and developing new resource planes again," the guard sighed.
"Old John" showed his Identity Plate, easily deceiving the great formation. Dark Crow could easily conceal his demonic energy, which was his racial talent.
He walked through the pristine white city, feeling the vibrant energy of so many people.
He returned to Old John's Wizard Tower, and then said excitedly.
"Let's begin... the Dance of Crows!"
Behind the Dark Crow, feathers flew out one by one, transforming into black shadows that disappeared into the earth like black fish, spreading out in all directions from Old John's Wizard Tower.
Wizard Tower.
In the laboratory, Levi, dressed in a lab coat, stood in front of a large pile of experimental equipment, holding a glass of clear medicine in his hand.
"The eighth experiment failed; it had no purification effect whatsoever..."
Levi reluctantly put down the medicine and left the laboratory.
"When in doubt, consult your own experience."
The research on Purification Potion cannot be completed in a day or two.
This is the culmination of the wisdom of the Insect Lamp Master; each material has its own unique characteristics.
Finding a suitable alternative material was extremely difficult for Levi.
However, he would not give up. He refused to believe that a Purification Potion could stump him.
Levi collected a variety of potion-making materials that could be bought at the nearby wizarding markets.
If it doesn't work the first time, try a hundred times, a thousand times, and you'll eventually find a solution.
Levi came outside the tower, stretched, and planted some herbs around his Wizard Tower. These herbs were just for show and were all worthless.
A Frost White Giant Wolf appeared beside Levi and gently nuzzled Levi with its head.
This giant wolf was none other than Aljeta.
Just yesterday, when the White Wolf Girl was breaking through to the Legendary Realm, something unexpected seemed to happen that even Levi couldn't have imagined.
Aljeta transformed into a ten-foot-long frost-white giant wolf, exhibiting a direct atavism, looking like a miniature version of the Silver Frost Wolf.
This is quite different from Levi's Legendary Realm performance in the past.
Logically speaking, Legendary Realm is merely the birth of a Legendary Realm organ; it shouldn't lead to a direct reversion to one's ancestral form.
When Levi tested Aljeta's bloodline again, he made an astonishing discovery: the bloodline of the Silver Frost Wolf within her had surged even more.
Levi speculated that this might be some kind of extremely unusual atavism.
A moment later, the giant wolf transformed into White Wolf Girl.
"Transforming into a giant wolf is so cool!" Aljeta said happily.
"Don't be arrogant, keep working hard, this is just the beginning," Levi said.
The other three Fur Race are also Peak Great Knight, but they are still some distance away from breaking through to Legendary Knight.
Even for the talented Fur Race, the threshold of being Legendary Knight is still enough to exclude most people.
Aljeta is a rather special case. Levi suspects that this little girl is inextricably linked to the White Wolf God worshipped by the White Wolf Race, namely the Silver Frost Wolf.
"Aljeta, watch the house. I'm going to the auction." Levi patted the White Wolf Girl's head and said.
"Yes, Master, you can go in peace."
Levi then quickly headed towards the Black Pearl Auction House.
The Black Pearl Auction House holds a large-scale auction every year, during which many good items may be sold.
Levi currently lacks wizarding knowledge and potion materials, so he wants to try his luck. If he can find Soul Tool Fragment, that would be even better.
A circle of wizards stood in front of a white, circular building that resembled Beast Fighting Arena.
These wizards are all here to participate in the auction. They are basically all Formal Wizard at least. Wizard Apprentice are not qualified to participate in auctions of this caliber.
Among them are some Second Ring, Third Ring, and even Fourth Ring Wizard.
"Have you heard? In the past week, nearly twenty Formal Wizard have died in the market. It seems that a demon is at work."
"Really? I didn't hear any news?"
"Anyway, I plan to leave this Black Pearl Market for the time being. I heard that the Thunder Dragon Family is recruiting Formal Wizard with very good benefits. I plan to go for an interview."
"If you ask me, the Wizard World has long since become a murky mess, and it's all the same no matter where you go."
A wizard stood there, casually chatting about gossip, the truth of which was unknown.
Levi frowned upon hearing this. He had been busy researching Purification Potion lately and hadn't paid much attention to the market.
His first thought was that the Thunder Dragon Family was behind this.
Other wizards might not be familiar with this tactic, but Levi, who had lived in Torrent City, knew it all too well.
The same thing happened in Torrent City before the great chaos.
First, demons wreaked havoc, causing wizards to die and disappear mysteriously. Then, the Thunder Dragon Family entered the scene and cleaned up the mess.
"Solett just left, and now this wizard market is in an uproar over demons. The Thunder Dragon Family has really stopped pretending and is acting with impunity! Is there no one going to do anything about this family colluding with demons and joining the Abyss camp?"
A silent anger was burning within Levi; he just wanted to find a quiet place to cultivate undisturbed.
But this Thunder Dragon Family is like flies, buzzing around everywhere, ruining Torrent City, and now they're trying to set up the Black Pearl Wizard Market in the Fifth District.
"They really treat the Endless Sea like their own backyard. Who exactly is the backer of the Thunder Dragon Family?" Levi pondered.
The Fifth Ring Wizarding Family is indeed very strong, but looking at the Endless Sea, there are dozens of High-Rank Wizard organizations. The Fifth Ring can only be considered upper-middle level, far from being a top-tier power.
Logically speaking, the Thunder Dragon Family shouldn't be this arrogant.
"Forget it, these conflicts between important figures are not something I can decide. If this market is gone, I'll just run away. Or maybe I should try that subspace node and see if I can return to the Mortal World through it."
Levi calmed down and waited for the auction to begin.
The two people were talking without using telepathy, which suggests they were deliberately trying to be overheard. There might be something fishy going on here.
Therefore, whether this news is true or false remains to be verified.
The auction was divided into three sessions.
The first and second auctions were basically prepared for First Ring- and Second-Ring Wizard.
Levi rarely made any purchases, only occasionally buying medicinal materials and formulas that he didn't already possess.
The private room can isolate mental perception, so Levi is not worried about being targeted by others.
Finally, the auction for mid-level wizards like Levi began.
Although Levi didn't know how many Third-Ring Wizard would participate in the auction, he figured it wouldn't be too few.
The beautiful auctioneer witch presented the first item for auction.
It was a Third Ring magical artifact resembling a compass.
"Esteemed wizards, this is the Third Ring Platinum Compass, a rare and top-grade defensive artifact. It can generate a durable and powerful Third Ring defensive force field, sufficient to withstand ordinary Third Ring spell attacks for a period of time. In addition, this compass can also determine direction and launch magnetic field attacks. The starting bid is 20,000 Great Stone, and each bid must be at least 1,000 Great Stone."
Levi noticed that after the auctioneer finished speaking, the wizards in the room began to look at her with fervor.
Because he possesses the Golden Serpent Scales and the Mahakala's Curtain, he doesn't need any defensive magical artifacts. However, for other Third-Ring Wizard, a Platinum Compass is equivalent to an extra layer of Protective Force Field, which is worthwhile for that reason alone.
Levi had not yet mastered the Third Ring defensive force field, so his initial idea was to bid for this magical artifact if he could get it at a low price.
However, shortly after the bidding began, the Platinum Compass exceeded Levi's target price.
There was no other way; this Platinum Compass was different from ordinary defensive magical artifacts. Other magical artifacts were only temporary defensive spells, while the Platinum Compass was a permanent defensive force field.
So many Third Ring- and even Fourth Ring Wizard at the scene actually started bidding.
For some ordinary Fourth Ring Wizard, having an extra layer of Third Ring Protective Force Field is also a good option.
In the end, the artifact was sold for 100,000 Great Stone, which made Levi feel incredibly crazy.
Next, a number of more magical artifacts were auctioned off, including some top-quality Second Ring artifacts and some Third Ring artifacts, but none of them were Fourth Ring artifacts. Fourth Ring artifacts are too rare and are generally not sold in ordinary markets for independent cultivators.
Levi didn't buy any; they were either useless to him or too expensive.
"The next item is quite special; it's an ancient spatial ring that's no longer available."
The female auctioneer smiled as she held up a tray on which was displayed a jet-black ring.
What's so good about space rings?
"That is."
Some wizards in the audience started to jeer, saying that in this day and age, the technology of spatial rings is far more advanced than before.
Storage space is getting bigger and bigger, and it's also very cheap. Even low-level wizards generally don't need to worry about storage problems.
"Listen to me, everyone. Since we're putting this up for auction, it must have something special about it. This ancient spatial ring is called the Serpent Eye Magic Ring Serpent Eye Magic Ring. The storage space inside isn't very large, but it contains a lost spell called the Serpent Eye Technique."
This Serpent Eye Technique is an extremely special type of petrification spell. It can ignore mental strength assessment and realm, allowing you to launch a petrification attack on your enemy with a constant one percent success rate.
Fellow wizards, if you consider yourself lucky, or if you enjoy collecting these ancient and rare magical artifacts, feel free to bid on them. Even if you just use them as Storage Ring, they would be quite valuable.
Of course, there are some precautions we need to mention upfront. Based on our testing, the Serpent Eye Technique has a seven-day cooldown period after each use. Apart from that, we are unable to test whether it is effective for High-Rank Wizard.
The Serpent Eye Magic Ring, starting bid 10,000 Great Stone, minimum increment 100 Thoth.
After the auctioneer finished speaking, the audience erupted in excitement.
"One percent? In actual combat, that probability is practically zero. Such witchcraft artifacts are nothing but a scourge to the young."
"I think it would be good to collect it."
Aside from a few scattered offers, as Levi had predicted, no one bid for the ring.
He made the final decision, acquiring the Serpent Eye Magic Ring for 15,000 Great Stone.
For no other reason than that he discovered the forging style and design of the Serpent Eye Magic Ring were almost identical to a spatial ring that Levi already possessed.
That's right, it's the [Trembling Magic Ring], which comes with a 1% chance of Paralysis Technique.
"Could it be that this ridiculous ring is actually part of a set? If I collect ten of these rings, will they have any special effects?" After obtaining the Serpent Eye Magic Ring, Levi kept playing with it in his palm.
It is clear that the Trembling Magic Ring and the Serpent Eye Magic Ring were made by the same Artifact Forging.
"Interesting."
Levi put the Serpent Eye Magic Ring on his finger.
"The Wind Spirit Ring, the Trembling Magic Ring, the Serpent Eye Magic Ring, the Giant Squid Ring, the Alice's Ring, now I am a Five Rings Knight."
Of course, among the five rings, the Wind Spirit and the Giant First Ring rings were just there to make up the numbers. Levi had been used to them and they had enough storage space, so he hadn't changed them.
At the subsequent auctions, there was basically nothing that Levi was interested in.
There are no such things as supernatural beings.
Finally, Levi bought a few more spells to enrich his spell library. Once he had enough spells, he would start creating his own Third Ring spells.
After the event ended, Levi quickly left the auction to avoid being followed.
Because of the no-flying magic circle, low-level wizards walked through the streets under the awe-inspiring gazes of mortals, while only some mid-level wizards, such as Levi, flew through the air.
A slum in a small town inhabited by ordinary people.
The houses are densely packed and cramped, scattered throughout the area.
A dilapidated little house.
A corpse lay in a pool of blood. The corpse appeared to be humanoid, with dense black feathers protruding from its nostrils, mouth, ears, and other parts.
A figure suddenly appeared, dressed in the uniform of a market enforcer.
"The same way of dying again... Damn it, what kind of demon is this?" Wizard Spiro's face was gloomy.
Among Garcia's Black Pearl Four Witches, Spiro was responsible for maintaining order in the market. He was also the strongest among them, having mastered four innate spells, two Third Ring and two Fourth Ring, making him a seasoned Fourth Ring- ring wizard.
Even someone as powerful as him personally intervened and searched for several days, but he still couldn't catch the mastermind behind all this. He could only conclude from the demonic energy emanating from the deceased that they had died at the hands of a demon.
Spiro collected the bodies and placed them in his storage space.
Inside, there were already hundreds of such corpses, some of them ordinary people, and some of them were wizards.
He intended to send these corpses to scholars specializing in the Abyss and demons, so they could determine the source of the evil and find a suitable remedy.
"The fact that they only know how to hide means their strength is no higher than Lord Garcia's or mine. To be able to kill a low-level wizard so silently, they are most likely at least at the Third Ring ring. Someone in the market has been possessed by a demon..."
Spiro calmed down and analyzed the situation internally.
Nowadays, the market's entrances and exits have long been closed.
Only entry is permitted; exit is not allowed.
Spiro needs to investigate all the wizards in the market, especially those Third-Ring Wizard, who are very likely to be possessed by demons.
"If Lord Garcia hadn't been to the Starry Sea Area these past few days, this demon wouldn't be so arrogant."
The white town on Black Pearl Island.
These past few days, smog has shrouded the entire city.
During this period, a large number of people have gone missing or died every day.
The market's law enforcement officers have yet to catch the murderer, nor have they offered any explanation.
Many people were dissatisfied with the market. At the same time, some people heard about the Thunder Dragon Family's plan to acquire the market, recruit more wizards, and make the market bigger and stronger.
As a result, many mortals and wizards secretly hoped that the Black Pearl Wizard Market could Thunder Dragon Family, so that with the protection of the Thunder Dragon Family, their future days would be better.
The Black Pearl Four Witches did not respond to these rumors.
At the exit of the magic circle, the two groups of wizards were on the verge of exchanging blows, their mental energy clashing with each other, just short of launching a magical attack.
"Why can't we leave? This is a market. We can come and go as we please!" a Third-Ring Wizard questioned.
"As I said, we suspect a demon has appeared in the city, and it may be possessing one of you. We cannot let you leave until the culprit is found," the law enforcement officer said.
"I see you don't want to investigate properly, you want us to be buried with this market, is that it?!"
"If you want to leave, you can. Lower your guard and force field shield, and let me use my mental power to sense the condition inside your bodies. Then open all your Storage Bag and hand over your witch artifacts. If you are not possessed by a demon, you can leave naturally."
"Are you crazy? Every wizard's body and Storage Tool are sacred and inviolable privacy. If you dare to pry into our privacy, we have the right to defend ourselves according to the law."
"If you have no demons within you, why are you afraid of our investigation? Do you have something to hide?"
Such arguments have been ongoing between market residents and administrators for the past few days.
Meanwhile, in an ordinary mansion in the city, Anna, High-Grade Wizard Apprentice, exchanged the Great Stone she had painstakingly accumulated over the years for a potion called "Kosu Water" to help her break through to the First Ring.
She carefully opened the Kosu Water.
"You must become Formal Wizard, Anna. Your mother is watching over you from heaven," Anna encouraged herself.
Compared to those prodigies, Anna's situation actually represents the reality for the vast majority of ordinary Wizard Apprentice in the Wizard World.
For them, becoming Formal Wizard was already a source of great honor for their ancestors.
After drinking the Kosu Water, Anna immediately entered a meditative state. Beads of sweat appeared on her forehead, and her body trembled incessantly.
After an unknown amount of time, Anna opened her eyes and felt that her mental strength was much stronger than before.
"Hahaha, I've become Formal Wizard!" Anna only possessed the talent of the Child of Chaos, excitedly muttered to herself.
The next moment, a black shadow as thin as a feather suddenly appeared on the wall behind Anna.
On the feather, a pale, terrifying eye opened, revealing a cruel smile.
Before long, a corpse appeared in the mansion, with black feathers growing from its surface.
"Weak humans, I am but an avatar, yet I am enough to terrify these wizards so much, tsk tsk tsk."
Wizard Tower.
Old John stood up, and as he did, shadowy figures gathered from all directions behind him, forming a group of shadowy soldiers clad in black feathers. Among them, the face of the witch Anna could be vaguely seen.
This is also the terrifying ability of the Dark Crow.
Demon Shadow Guard! Behind him, hundreds of Demon Shadow Guard crowded together. These were the low-level wizards and mortals that Dark Crow had killed recently. These Demon Shadow Guard were of average strength, but they were perfect for creating chaos.
"This avatar only has one day left to exist. Now, let this city tremble with fear and boil with excitement for me!"
Countless dark shadows surged into the sky, following behind "Old John".
The Wizard Tower collapsed with a crash.
Then, these shadowy figures rushed off in all directions, and the final slaughter began!
The sudden turn of events on Old John's side immediately caught the attention of the Fourth Ring Wizard, Spiro.
His expression changed as he sensed terrifying demonic energy suddenly erupting within the market, wreaking havoc throughout the city! "To the Third-Ring Wizard Tower area!"
Spiro immediately gave the order, and his wizards flew off swiftly.
Halfway up the mountain, a wizard exuding dark demonic energy was laughing wildly.
It was the Seventh Apostle, Dark Crow.
"Old John... it was him! He's possessed by a demon."
"Activate the grand formation and trap the demon!" Spiro said.
Dark Crow would not sit idly by and wait to die. Before the great formation was activated, he transformed into a streak of black light and disappeared from the spot.
When he reappeared, he was already in front of a Second-Ring Wizard.
Before the Second-Ring Wizard could even figure out what was happening, he was torn apart by the Dark Crow's claws and turned into a bloody mist in mid-air.
At that moment, countless streams of water shot into the sky, coalescing into a long chain.
The chains instantly bound the Dark Crow tightly.
Spiro came from afar, carrying his Fourth Ring talent spell, Flowing Water Lock.
"A grand formation!"
This time, trapped by Spiro's magic, the other array wizards finally had an opportunity to take advantage.
The magic array, designed to trap enemies, shone brightly, completely surrounding the Dark Crow.
A burst of black light erupted, sending countless black feathers flying and tearing the flowing chains apart.
The next moment, countless magical lights engulfed the Dark Crow.
In front of Spiro, a teardrop-shaped object appeared.
Fourth Ring Talent Spell: Water Explosion Technique! Water droplets swiftly landed above the Dark Crow, exploding with a deafening roar.
The shockwave swept through, catching the Dark Crow completely off guard.
He was about to unleash even greater power when he discovered that Old John's body was already broken and could barely support him.
"This human body is truly frail! I haven't even used my true abilities yet, and this body can't withstand it. I'm not willing to disappear like this." Dark Crow's mind raced.
He suddenly summoned all the Demon Shadow Guard together, turning them into a black, ball-like sphere. Countless twisted souls wailed within it, their resentment soaring to the heavens and distorting the void.
"Demon Shadow Explosion!"
Boom! The combined power of the self-destruction of hundreds of Demon Shadow Guard tore apart the magic array that was trapping Dark Crow. Spiro's expression changed drastically, and he quickly disappeared from the spot using his escape technique, moving away from the explosion.
"I'll play with you guys again once I find a stronger body."
Dark Crow sneered. He remembered the Body Refinement Wizard in Old John's mind. That Body Refinement Wizard had shown off a few skills during a battle against the invasion of Black Wizard, leaving a deep impression on Old John.
Dark Crow knew that with his current physical form, he was no match for that Fourth Ring Wizard, but if he could take over the body of that Body Refinement Wizard, he should be able to fight him.
"Chase him, don't let him possess you again!" Spiro instantly understood what Dark Crow was trying to do. At the same time, Wa Li Er, one of the Black Pearl Four Witches, also rushed to the rescue.
"I'll help you!" Wa Li Er said.
"This Magic Power are bizarre; be careful," Spiro warned.
"I remember the direction he went. That was the Wizard Tower of a Third Ring alchemist and Body Refinement Wizard, I think his name was Levi..."
"Hurry up, or that apothecary will be in grave danger. Even Third Ring Body Refinement Wizard shouldn't be able to withstand this demon's attack for long."
Spiro and Wa Li Er gave chase, while the Dark Crow had already reached the Wizard Tower, his target.
He flapped his wings, and a terrifying hurricane swept through the Wizard Tower, uprooting the Wizard Tower and the magic circle outside in the blink of an eye.
The Wizard Tower, however, was completely empty; there wasn't a single person inside.
"Damn it! Where did that Body Refinement Wizard go?" Dark Crow wondered.
Suddenly, Dark Crow looked up at the sky above and saw that there was a tear in the semi-transparent magic circle, which was slowly healing.
He instantly realized that the Body Refinement Wizard had probably foreseen the danger and had destroyed a part of the magic array on his own, thus leaving the place.
He quickly chased after them before the gap healed.
In the distance, a faint figure could be seen fleeing ahead.
If it's not Levi, then who is it?
The moment the Dark Crow showed hostility towards him, Levi sensed something was wrong through his Spider Sense.
He then used the Golden Rotation to create a small opening in the Fourth Ring magic circle amidst the chaos, before transforming into a blood mist and escaping.
Although he didn't know how strong Dark Crow was, judging from the hairs standing on end by his Spider Sense, he was definitely at the Fourth Ring level! Levi naturally had to escape.
He had intended to escape using the Hermit Rune, but his current cultivation level was too low, and his spiritual power was far inferior to that of Dark Crow. He simply couldn't become completely invisible. As soon as Dark Crow appeared, he spotted Levi in the distance.
He quickly caught up with him, intending to possess Levi.
One ran, the other chased.
Behind Dark Crow, two Fourth Ring Wizard followed closely behind.
"That Body Refinement Wizard actually tore a corner of the great formation. Even I would have some difficulty tearing open a corner. How did he do it?" Spiro was shocked.
"Don't run away, we're here, the demons can't hurt you!" Wa Li Er shouted from behind.
Levi's speed of escape was nowhere near that of Dark Crow.
Before long, he was caught up, and the Protective Force Field around Levi began to flash and light up.
Dark Crow Raven sneered, transforming into a black arrow that pierced through Levi's layers of force fields. With a bang, it struck Levi's Golden Scales, seemingly about to penetrate Golden Scales and enter Levi's body.
Levi instinctively exploded into a bloody mist.
However, the next moment, an endless tide of spiritual energy surged from all sides, squeezing out the blood mist that Levi had transformed into. Levi, in his blood mist state, was actually forced to reveal his true form! "A mere trick. It is your honor to be possessed by me!" Dark Crow sneered, continuing to exert his power and tearing apart Levi's protective Golden Scales.
His spiritual power entered Levi's mind, preparing to destroy Levi's ocean of consciousness in the same way he dealt with Old John.
But then he discovered a three-story White Tower, radiating a holy light, firmly protecting Levi's ocean of consciousness.
"The Sacred Tower? You actually have such a thing?" Dark Crow exclaimed in surprise.
Sensing the invasion of an enemy's mental energy, the Sacred Tower began to protect its master automatically, spinning rapidly and emitting a powerful suction force.
A portion of Dark Crow's spiritual body began to be shattered and absorbed by the Sacred Tower.
"No, I have to find a way to break free!" At this moment, the Dark Crow, who had entered Levi's sea of consciousness, panicked.
He was decisive and resolute, cutting off most of his mental energy before breaking free from the Sacred Tower's restraints.
Dark Crow's spiritual power was ground down by the Sacred Tower, and the Sacred Tower became extremely solid compared to before.
Moreover, Levi sensed that the ring of gaseous spiritual energy around the Sacred Tower seemed to be growing slightly stronger.
Although he didn't test it, he could feel that his mental strength had definitely increased by 1 to 2 points just now.
Of course, Levi couldn't think about these things right now; he was filled with more anger and resentment.
He really didn't understand why everyone else couldn't cultivate themselves quietly like him.
Why do they have to fight all the time? Why does this damned demon want to cross mountains of people to possess me? They only pick on the weak, right? Just because I keep a low profile, all sorts of nobodies want to bite me, right? I'm tired of saying "Don't push me!"
Consumed by rage, the blood of the Red Emperor Dragon flowed from his heart throughout Levi's body.
Levi stopped running; he stopped.
He lowered his head, a silent anger burning within him!
70%, 80%, 90%...100%.
The moment Levi's anger level reached 100%.
His eyes turned bloodshot, reflecting a crimson world filled with lava and Sea of Fire.
In the center of this world, a Scarlet Dragon coiled in the Firmament opened its cold and deep golden dragon eyes and let out a dragon roar.
Golden scales were stacking up wildly, layer upon layer. Under the state of the Wrathful Dragon Venerable, all of Levi's attributes began to surge! The normal Fire Dragon True Body, which was two zhang tall, was completely different from usual at this moment. Antler-like structures grew on Levi's head, and a thick and powerful dragon tail trailed behind him.
Since awakening his Fire Dragon True Body, Levi has never used the Wrathful Dragon Venerable form.
At this moment, he finally couldn't hold back anymore.
He raised his head, feeling the energy surging within him like a tidal wave, experiencing an indescribable sense of power.
"So this is the real power."
Levi grinned, looked up at Dark Crow, and could vaguely make out Old John's bloodied and mangled face.
Old John is a good person. Although we haven't spent much time together, he's capable and honest.
Boom! Levi suddenly disappeared from the spot, and because the speed was so fast, it seemed that there was still a fiery phantom in the spot.
Bang.
Levi's dragon claws gripped Dark Crow's steel-feather-like protective wings.
The clang of metal rang out, and sparks flew everywhere.
This attack sent Dark Crow flying back hundreds of meters.
"This isn't the power Third Ring Body Refinement Wizard should have... This is Fourth Ring?" Dark Crow was shocked.
Levi attacked again, like an enraged Bull.
Dark Crow is a demon by nature. Although the Old John who is currently possessing him is too weak, he is not too afraid because of his talent and demonic energy.
What he feared even more were the two Fourth Ring Wizard who were chasing after him.
Wa Li Er and Spiro were about to step forward to help Levi.
"Gun Kai!" Levi's voice boomed.
These two high-ranking Fourth Ring Wizard stopped simultaneously, their faces showing surprise and disbelief.
"Um, is he going to take on a level four demon all by himself...?" Wa Li Er frowned.
"I think that's how it is." Spiro smiled wryly. This was the first time he had been scolded by Third-Ring Wizard since becoming Fourth Ring Wizard.
"Let's wait and see. Let him test this demon's strength before we make our move."
"Sigh, with his personality, he truly deserves to be called Body Refinement Wizard."
"No, he should be a Dragonborn Body Refinement Wizard... The physical attributes of a Dragonborn, coupled with powerful body refinement techniques, no wonder he was able to withstand the attack of a Level 4 demon at the level of Third-Ring Wizard."
"However, his explosive state shouldn't last long. It's just a brief confrontation with a level four demon. It's basically impossible to defeat him completely."
In his Wrathful Dragon Venerable form, Levi will utter some harsh words that he would never normally say.
This feeling of losing one's mind is unpleasant, which is why Levi is unwilling to use this state.
Boom! The crimson figure and the black figure clashed and fought high in the sky, the crimson flames and demonic energy seemingly turning the sky into two separate worlds.
Levi held Frostmourne in his hand, and with the blessing of the flames, Frostmourne seemed to transform into Surtur's world-destroying fiery sword that annihilated Asgard!
Every strike Fierce Fire, every strike a critical hit!
Dark Crow is, after all, a level four demon, and even more so, an incarnation of a level six demon. Although he cannot unleash his full power due to the limitations of the body he possesses.
However, aside from being initially suppressed by Levi, he quickly gained the upper hand again.
Countless black feathers fell from the sky and gathered in Dark Crow's hand to form a giant black feather sword that was ten feet long!
The giant sword slashed down from above, cutting through the clouds and shattering the blue sky!
Boom! Levi blocked with Frostmourne.
Click.
His pure Sun Gold longsword was actually cut in half!
The giant sword continued to slash down, Levi blocked with both arms, but was blasted into the ground, creating a large crater.
As the smoke and dust cleared, the one-armed Levi roared, Death Ash Cinders swirled around him, while Ember Fire ever brighter.
He soared into the sky, his arms now fully recovered.
"What kind of monstrous physique?" Even Dark Crow, a demon, was stunned.
This was beyond his understanding of Body Refinement Wizard.
Logically speaking, Body Refinement Wizard are only considered average in strength among wizards.
What's more, the other party is only Third-Ring Wizard, while I am a fourth-level demon.
"Die!"
Dark Crow completely abandoned Old John's body. He only had five minutes left to live. His dignity as a high-ranking demon required him to kill Levi before he dissipated!
The raging pillar of demonic energy reached the heavens and the earth, towering hundreds of feet high.
"The Crow Demon True Body!"
In an instant, the effeminate and handsome young man transformed into a five-zhang-tall, ten-zhang-tall raven demon with wings! "To be able to force me to use my true form with Third Ring body, interesting, very interesting, hahahaha!"
Black wings spun, like a black whirlwind sweeping across the heavens and earth, unleashing endless feather blades.
Levi roared, his body growing larger against the wind, as if Whale Devour and Drink Sea, countless energies surging forth in an instant.
The ultimate power!
Giant Dragon Warrior!
The dragon warrior, also five zhang tall, swung its thick tail.
Boom! The two terrifying behemoths collided in the sky, and the shockwave shattered all the clouds within a radius of several kilometers, revealing the azure sky!
"This... it seems like we don't need to intervene. He should be Fourth Ring Body Refinement Wizard, but his mental cultivation hasn't kept up." Spiro was somewhat shocked.
"But don't Body Refinement Wizard also rely on mental power to cultivate body-refining spells?"
"That must be because of the dragon lineage. This Dragonkin Wizard may have some kind of pure-blooded Dragonkind blood."
While the two were watching a play in the Fourth Ring.
In the sky, Levi watched as the true form of the Dark Crow gradually faded away.
"Don't run!" Levi Wrath.
Terrifying flames erupted, engulfing the true form.
"Humans, when the drums of Blood War between the Abyss and the wizards sound once more, I, Dark Crow, will return!"
A resentful cry came from the Dark Crow.
His power as an incarnation has been completely exhausted and vanished without a trace.
at the same time.
In the Thunder Dragon Family.
Solett was resting when suddenly, Victor's voice echoed in his mind, "The incarnation of the Dark Crow is dead."
"It's alright, I think I've already achieved my goal." Solett opened his eyes, and Thunder flashed, blasting the void in front of him.
