Two updates totaling 17,000 words for today are complete. It's the last day, so please vote with your monthly tickets now or it will be a waste! April has passed in the blink of an eye.

The book has reached 1.64 million words, and nearly 310,000 words were updated in April, still maintaining a daily update of 10,000 words per month.

As I planned, by June I should have reached about 2 million words, and by the end of this year, the book should have reached about 3.6 million words. At the current update speed, it should be completed next year.

Since its release on December 9th last year, it has been updating 10,000 words a day for almost half a year, and it has stayed in the top dozens of the Qidian power rankings for almost half a year.

So far, in the six months since I started writing the book, I haven't taken a single day off.

Although Lao Tian's writing ability is average and his writing style is not good, compared to the thousands of authors on Qidian, I am quite satisfied with his update attitude. At least I have a clear conscience. Lao Tian also makes up for the missed updates each month on time or even ahead of schedule. He has kept his word.

Getting back to the main topic, the missed updates for April are as follows:

1. Regarding monthly tickets, it seems that there should be around 16,000 monthly tickets in April. According to the extra update rule set at the beginning of the month that is specifically for April, it is 500 tickets per update. There are 32 chapters left to go, which is 3,000 words per chapter, or 96,000 words... (ps: 500 tickets per update only applies to April. After that, it will be the normal 1,000 tickets per update).

2. Regarding Recommendation Ticket, the number of votes increased by 10,000 from 80,000 to 90,000. There is one chapter missing, totaling 3,000 words.

3. In terms of average subscriptions, there was basically no change in April. Qidian giving less and less exposure to older books, so the average subscriptions only increased by a little over 400. Two extra chapters were added, totaling 6,000 words.

4. If the monthly ticket ranking remains in the top 100 in April, an extra 10,000 words will be added.

5. The total number of monthly tickets in April exceeded 15,000, so an extra 15,000 words will be added.

The final total number of words owed is 130,000.

This is roughly equivalent to owing a normal author a month's worth of updates.

The debt is too large, and I definitely won't be able to pay it all back next month, so let's split it into two payments. Lao Tian definitely won't default on the debt, so everyone can rest assured.

Lao Tian isn't particularly talented, and his writing is just average, but I can guarantee that up to this point, I've been writing diligently within my capabilities and will never delay updates or go back on my word.

Finally, from May 1st to 7th, there will still be double monthly votes, so please don't forget to vote if you're willing.

Lastly, Lao Tian will be spending a few days with his family from May 1st to 3rd, so updates will be slower for three days. It will probably be around 6,000 to 8,000 words per day, depending on the situation on the day. There is also a possibility that updates will not be on time.

Let's consider these three days as a short break for Lao Tian. After spending so much time typing in front of the computer, his knuckles and shoulders are starting to hurt.
