June Summary, Owed Updates, and Asking for Monthly Passes
[June Summary] No updates due, please vote with monthly tickets.
First, I need monthly votes. I currently have around 13,800, and I'm 200 votes short of reaching 14,000. For every 1,000 monthly votes, I'll add 3,000 words to the chapter, and I can add another 3,000 words next month.
In addition, Qidian also has a monthly pass lottery, with 1000 monthly passes required for one draw. These extra 1000 passes can be used by Lao Tian to draw the guaranteed 100 yuan, enough for a day's rent...
If any readers have votes, please don't forget to cast them, otherwise it will be a waste. Thank you Lao Tian.
I only need 200 votes to reach 14,000. If you have any extra votes, you can vote for other books on the bookshelf that are almost at 1,000 votes. That way, the author's royalties will increase by 100 next month.
Don't use numbers exceeding 1000, otherwise it will Qidian cheap.
At the end of the month, because my wife's family had some things to do, I also went back to my father-in-law's house. I used up the two drafts I had saved up for the cross-city move in July. Sigh, it's so frustrating.
Let me tell you something interesting.
A couple of days ago, I was writing on the high-speed train to my father-in-law's house. On my way back from the restroom, I noticed another male author in the same carriage also using Writer Assistant app to write.
After I returned to my seat, I thought about it for a while and felt that it was a rare opportunity to meet a fellow author on the high-speed train, so I went to say hello.
Then I looked at the book title, "The First Cause of All Realms," and then at the pen name, "Pei Tu Gou"...
Lao Tian excitedly added Dog Brother on WeChat. He couldn't help but marvel at the wonder of fate! Hehehe!
I've been writing the book for half a year now, and I've been almost a full-time writer for two months now. To be honest, writing the book is more tiring than being a lawyer.
When I was a lawyer, at least I had a 9-to-5 job, weekends off, and I didn't have to deal with my boss after get off work.
Now, I get up at eight in the morning and go to bed at midnight. Except for meals, walks, and some rest time, I'm writing all the time. Not only can I not save up any drafts, but my writing is also a complete mess.
Unfortunately, Lao Tian isn't a naturally gifted author, nor is he a prolific writer. He's only been writing books for exactly two years, since June of this year.
All I can say is that Lao Tian has done his best to write this book so far.
Let's get back to the main topic.
A total of 312,000 words were updated in June, and all the backlog from May has been paid off.
June update arrears:
1. Based on 14,000 monthly votes, the total number of words owed is 14 * 3,000 = 42,000.
2. The Recommendation Ticket increased from 120,000 to 140,000, resulting in a total of 2 * 3,000 = 6,000 words of unfilled chapters.
3. The top 100 in the final monthly vote rankings owe a total of 10,000 words of updates.
4. No changes were made to the average order.
In summary, a total of 58,000 words are owed, which will be paid off in July.
I'm asking for monthly votes at the end of the month, and also for votes tomorrow. I'm off to write now, and the update will still be at 12 noon tomorrow.
