[July Summary] No updates due, please vote.

The busy month of July has passed. A total of 330,000 words were updated in July, averaging 11,000 words per day.

It has been 7 and a half months since it was published, and the total number of words has reached 2.6 million.

Before summarizing, let me ask for one more round of monthly votes; they'll expire if I don't vote now.

Currently, there are 18,400+ votes. With another 600 votes, Lao Tian can participate in a lottery. The minimum prize is 100 yuan, which will cover a day's rent. Thank you so much!

P. S.: Friends who don't have tickets, please don't waste your money subscribing to books you won't read and then trying to get tickets!

Let me first explain the situation regarding the missed updates last month:

1. Based on 19,000 monthly votes, the total number of words owed is 19 * 3,000 = 57,000.

2. The number of Recommendation Ticket increased from 140,000 to 160,000, which means there are 2 * 3,000 = 6,000 words of unread words.

3. The top 100 in the final monthly vote rankings owe a total of 10,000 words of updates.

4. Average subscriptions have increased by 400, currently at 15,000+, with 6,000 words still owed.

5. I don't know if I can break into the top 50 of the monthly ticket rankings this month. If I can, Lao Tian 'll add another 20,000 words. If not, I'll add another 10,000 words.

In summary, a total of 89,000 words are owed (if the final monthly ticket ranking is in the top 50 this month, then it will be 99,000 words, rounded up to 100,000 words), which will be paid off in August.

August was a new beginning for both Levi and Lao Tian.

Levi is about to truly enter the ranks of masters, becoming a level six Knight and Primal Soul Wizard.

Lao Tian, having left the Imperial Capital he had wandered for 10 years, braved the torrential rain today, carrying a suitcase full of rainwater, and arrived in the sunny Riverside Town in Southern China.

I'm really feeling quite emotional right now. I came to Lao Tian 13 years ago to study at Imperial Capital Fa Da and Law. After graduation, I did a tough internship for two years, earning only five or six thousand yuan a month, before finally getting Imperial Capital lawyer's license. But I didn't even stay on the law firm for two years. I accidentally stumbled into the online literature industry and, by a twist of fate, temporarily left the legal profession. This year, I became a full-time author. You can only say that life is unpredictable.

I thought becoming a full-time author would make things easier, but the pressure of writing 10,000 words a day still fills my time. Every day, I'm bombarded with requests for updates from readers all over the West Sea, a bittersweet experience. Before leaving Imperial Capital, I didn't even have a day to visit my alma mater with friends, and I've never been to any of Imperial Capital's famous tourist attractions.

Now, a new chapter begins. As before, if Lao Tian isn't enough, hard work will make up for it. While maintaining quality, I'll aim for 10,000 words a day until completion, then take a few months off to play games and work out intensely! The Dark Ancient Tower chapter officially begins on June 1st and concludes on July 31st—exactly two months and over 600,000 words.

Before the Ancient Tower, Lao Tian had almost never written about dungeon runs, because I really didn't know how to write them, and I was also worried that I would mess up the story if I changed maps.

Before starting the Ancient Tower, I was prepared for a massive subscription crash.

However, the number of subscriptions in the past two months was actually the highest during the serialization of this book. As the story of the ancient Ancient Tower came to an end, it kept rising. A novel with 15,000 average subscriptions and a fast-paced upgrade story, which is almost three million words, saw its subscriptions rise to 4,500, setting a record for this flopped book... It was really unexpected.

While writing the Ancient Tower Chapter, Lao Tian also gained some insights.

For example, even in the "Gou Dao Liu" genre, as long as the protagonist's character doesn't fall apart, there still needs to be some scenes of him showing off and being arrogant in front of others to provide some enjoyment. Otherwise, staying at home to cultivate all the time would indeed be boring and tedious.

Lao Tian said, the plot of the Ancient Tower is a bridge between the past and the future. After the Ancient Tower, some of the main worldviews of this book have been unfolded. For example, the Golden Absolute Clan will become one of the main enemies of the Wizard Civilization in the future. A powerful country composed entirely of Truth Wonder will inevitably become a stepping stone for the Wizard Civilization to become powerful.

The Astral Realm, Nightmare, the Abyss... these future large maps will naturally begin to be explored gradually.

In early August, Lao Tian may update a little less, as I need to set aside some time to sort out the upcoming plot developments and the protagonist's future skill progression.

In short, the main goal for August is to achieve a comprehensive promotion to level six.

Alright, I've rambled on for another thousand words without realizing it. Lao Tian 'm getting back to writing. As for the monthly votes, I'll leave that to you all...

Tomorrow's update will still be at noon. I lost all my drafts during the move, otherwise I would definitely have updated a lot more.

From now on, I will try to set aside one or two days each month to update two chapters a day, totaling 20,000 words. Thank you everyone.

Lao Tian bowed.
