The next day, Locke followed the witch Sophia in a carriage to the Healing Hand Clinic, located in another city.

The Healing Hand Clinic was situated in a valley surrounded by the mortal city of Goye City.

However, this mortal city had nothing to do with the Healing Hand Clinic, because mortals could not approach the barrier surrounding the valley where it was located.

Locke and the witch Sophia's carriage passed through the barrier and entered the valley of the Healing Hand Clinic.

At the end of the narrow valley road stood more than a dozen steep, towering white buildings in the Gothic style. Some of the walls bore the academy emblems of Lilith's Cottage.

Many wizards came and went, entering and leaving the Healing Hand Clinic by various means of transportation.

Locke followed the witch Sophia without encountering any obstruction along the way. In other words, the Potion Maker's Badge and Potion-Making Assistant Certification Badge on their white wizard robes were enough to ensure that they would not be stopped here.

The moment Locke entered the tower of Healing Hand, his eyelid twitched. He saw many Wizard Apprentices covered in curses from head to toe.

The curses on these Wizard Apprentices were all malignant curse spells, which ordinary Wizard Apprentices could not dispel.

Locke saw a Third-Class Wizard Apprentice assistant helping a Second-Class Wizard Apprentice whose entire body was bleeding incessantly, searching for a bed where he could rest temporarily.

They walked with trembling steps, their bodies wrapped in an aura of sinister Mana. It smelled like rotting flesh—the remnants of a deeply malicious curse clinging to the wounds.
