The next day, the Central Academy Library, located west of the port city of Lilith's Cottage, was a massive structure—not an Alchemy Cabin.

The entire building had an antique charm. Rather than the stone architecture common in the Southeastern Corner Region, it was a seven-story wooden structure, shaped like a tower of stacked layers.

At its core stood an advanced Magic Plant, the Babel Tree, supporting the structure.

The Babel Tree's canopy supported the various auxiliary rooms of the library, giving Lilith's Cottage's public library a distinctive character.

On the first floor of the library,

a Dwarf scholar sat in a chair. He possessed a tranquil temperament entirely unlike that of an Alchemist. Wearing plain glasses, he was flipping through a book thicker and heavier than a brick. His fingers were withered and slender, like bare bones, and the joints within them were plainly visible.

Besides this Dwarf scholar, there were many other staff members in the library, all of whom seemed rather quiet and refined.

There was even a Formal Wizard of Halfling descent specializing in General Studies on the first floor, leading his students in study while explaining the history of the library.

Locke entered the library, bowed to the Halfling Formal Wizard in the distance, then quickly walked toward the person in charge of the first floor—the Dwarf scholar.
